I was thinking the same thing, but I was thinking 1 week. Between Emu's and your posts though I think they know better now. I'll take that bet.

Re: Ordering a Wiikey/Wasp in Canada
BadAss Consoles, a MEGAdrive, and some patience. You aren't going to get a more reliable seller, or an easier install from anywhere else.

I have no idea about your issue specifically, but I do know I have absolutely no love for ePSXe, you could give mednafen a try, for playstation emulation I prefer it personally,

Re: Gamecube won't power on! Bought from Badassconsoles.com
Your completely misunderstanding, that was an event that occurred in May and I bought another wasp from him later sent to my address. That was a mistake caused by me and I'm not blaming it on anyone. Right now the dispute is that my GC wouldn't power on so I opened a PayPal dispute and the next day...

Re: Gamecube won't power on! Bought from Badassconsoles.com
The first address that I sent it to was my parents house and unknowingly they threw the package away because the label didn't have my name on it, it had the company name on it. That's the greatest thing I've ever heard, man when mail gets improperly delivered to me I always throw it out instead of ...

Re: Optional settings?
usb sticks and SSDs both use nand, and last forever, my SSD is specced at something like 44 years at 10 GBs of writes a day and that's just what the specs say, actual endurance testing has shown it can handle way more, torture testing has shown it can handle 3,152 write/erase cycles, even assuming t...

Re: Optional settings?
tueidj is entirely right, this whole nand write fear thing is getting way overblown, it was never much of an issue, the number of writes that nand can handle these days your wii will be long dead before the nand manages to go bad.

Re: BadAss Consoles .com going live!
Site looks great Mega. Hell yeah ! :D The Megadrives are a bit expensive but these Wasps sure are cheap. If shipping is worth it, I'll consider them. Oh gosh, these parts are cheap too. Expensive, how much do you want to pay for a custom small production run board, the price is extremely rea...

I recommend flashing swiss to the wasp which is the route I quickly ended up going, much better experience than wbfs and it'll do a whole load of other awesome things

Re: Flash Drive storage on the wiiU no good?
Sorry, I need to quote more, I got what you meant man, I wasn't referring to any post in particular, just nintendo's warning, your comparison to the health screen was entirely spot on, most companies are just overly conservative in most of what they do. Yeah, the whole nand memory fear everyone has ...

Re: Flash Drive storage on the wiiU no good?
What they're talking about has nothing to do with powered or up time, USB flash drives and SSDs use nand, nand has a limited number of writes per cell, so after you've burned through those writes it can still be read from but some of the cells won't be able to be written to. You really don't have to...

Re: Not64 - an experimental modification
I in no way meant to offend, as of today I've donated $20 to the effort. What I meant was that without financial reward there is no incentive for authors to work, it was only a recommendation of what the PJ64 team did. I now realise what I said was confusing and was in no way meant to be offensive ...

Re: Not64 - an experimental modification
So you feel entitled to complain but you won't make a donation/pay for the software ever, that's awesome, that's not a ridiculous sense of entitlement at all. Use the original hardware you paid for and complain to nintendo if you have any problems, they were paid to care.

Re: Not64 - an experimental modification
I'm sorry you had to buy stuff and contribute to the economy instead of getting it for free, it's a real drag isn't it? You're clearly a victim here.
...and with this I'm done sarcastically responding to someone who I'm fairly confident is just another "the_randomizer" account.

Re: Not64 - an experimental modification
emu_kidid has said as recently as 6 days ago that he's still working on it, apparently him telling you whether he's still working on it or not won't stop you from calling it dead or whining about how long you've had to wait for free software, or did you just not see that post because complaining was...

Mario Golf worked shrunk for me, and in theory, all games should unless if they go out of their way to perform some evil checks on the disc layout. I personally wouldn't compile a list because the definition of a shrunk image would vary quite a bit depending on the tool used and whether or not it k...

For the firmwares you can get them here where megalomaniac posted them, http://www.gc-forever.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=17031#p17031 Swiss uses fat32 which is more convenient to work with and you can trim your games which can save quite a bit of space on your sd card. Also, thanks to megalomaniac y...

Re: Installing WKF help
I bought a megadrive, I found the soldering to be fairly easy, the removal of the old port was the part I had the most problems with and that's only because I broke a pin and have no solder removal gear around, if you aren't hamfisted and take your time the megadrive is a pretty easy install. The me...
