it looks like the top-side has a slot right smack in the middle that looks kinda like a SD shape (rectangle with a corner clipped). could that be a connector that's just not populated?emu_kidid wrote:If you swap NAND you need to swap the chip with starlet/console unique key too.

Re: The definitive GameCube motherboard trimming guide
Ok, now, with the tables that makes sense.
in the first case, you're using the pinout from the GC side, and in the other, the pinout from the Wii side... that's why i was confused...
And of course: like they said... awesome!

Re: The definitive GameCube motherboard trimming guide
Those pinouts are of the top AND bottom of the motherboard. Which is why one goes one way and the other looks backwards. There are also 2 sets of top and bottom pictures. One set for the original GC pinout and one set for the Wii Drive Adaptation. look at the picture labelled "Gamecube Origina...

Re: The definitive GameCube motherboard trimming guide
the pinout picture for the drive on the mobo seems to have a mistake on the pinout numbers. one of the pictures (it shows the serial number of the mobo) has the numbering going from left to right, and a couple pictures down, the same picture has the same numbering going from right to left. I think t...

All this time I was under the impression it was for June 25-July 1st. Well it turns out its really June 18th-24th... Wait! you seriously are...

The wording is ambiguous. It could either mean that the controller can't be used without the console. (You can't buy just the controller...and still play games.) Or, it could mean as stated in the article. i am curious as to how they handle multiple screen. obviously, output from the console can be...

Thanks for the links. So does anyone know what Brakken is doing these days? I've always enjoyed tehskeen for its reporting of scene news. Re: Qoob Chip
I upgraded my motherboard to this http://www.msi.com/product/mb/P67A-C43--B3-.html and now qoob is not recognized :( It seems to be a problem specific to the usb controller on the board - I've tried a bunch of different settings in the bios but nothing helped. it simply means that the drive is having trouble identifying the content of the disk (and calibrating the laser would fix that -- turn the pot to make it work...)

Re: How sort files?
if it's a FAT/NTFS file system on your disk, and you are willing to use something like cygwin and/or linux, you can try something like this: find /path/to/you/files/ -type f -print0 | sort | xargs -0 touch the first part gets all the files, recursively in that folder, the second part should sort the...
