Re: NINTENDONT: WiiU loading Game Cube games
Here's what happened: - People in the Nintendont thread on gbafail started suggesting decompiling Devolution since it has near-perfect compatibility - Crediar hosted and linked a memory dump of an old build of Devolution (illegally - no permission for him to redistribute) and "suggested" ...

Re: Optional settings?
I have another question about GameShark. I read somewhere you guys said you were updating mupen 64 it with mupen 64 plus right? You also told you hadn't planned on adding GS support to it but, IIRC doesn't mupen 64 have GS support? I also noticed you said GS support will be added to WiiSX but why? I...

Re: Optional settings?
If you're worried about your NAND being written to, you should unplug your wii and never use it. Yes I think I know that. I'm guessing that was sarcasm by the way. IIRC the specs for the nand used in the wii state that each cell is rated for over 100,000 erase cycles. But even if it wasn't, what No...

Re: Optional settings?
What about the NAND page file from Not64? Will it be implemented and if so, maybe optional? Also, could Nintendo's technique be done as in loading the entire ROM to the memory? I mean games that are 32 MB or also Paper Mario is which 40 MB? I know that ROMs 16MB or under always are loaded fully into...

Optional settings?
Just wondering about a few options I've seen in PJ64: Maybe we could could have some things where they can be enabled or disabled: TLB on/off, I've heard some people say that if it's turned off for games that don't use it you should get better speed. Expansion pack enable/disable, maybe able to disa...

I wonder, would this work with Devolution? I don't have a Wii U but was curious about this.

Re: Any Updates sometime ?
You know that I mean manufactured right? Not a DVD-R as I know about that, I've used swiss to run them before. I prefer not to use DVD-R though as I've noticed my GC has been having more problems reading certain retail discs and they're not even damaged that badly. You said "get an unofficial ...

Datel, the only people ever to get an unofficial disc to boot on the GameCube are from the U.K. *cough* You know that I mean manufactured right? Glad and shocked to see that emukid is an aussie . You've done some great work and I expected you were from America or something. Eagerly waiting for an update to the 64 emulator on wii but I'm in no hurry. Just glad to see you haven't forgotten about it. Again im happy your Australian :-) Datel, t...

Could an option be added to turn off or on interlacing? Also what about video options for homebrew DOL files?
Just some more ideas that popped in my head.

Re: Swiss Nightly Build
I still can't get any game working with the newer revisions. The ISO game loading method must be different as DOL's still launch just fine while all games give me a black screen. Try to reformat SDCard using low level format (to remove fragmentation). It is defragmented, 0.3-r174 runs most games fi...

Very nice, good work.
The Wii's main menu should have showed the GC game banners IMO.

Syphon Filter working on WiiSX Beta 2.1
I found a way to get it to work, you'll need UltraISO to do this. Open up the SF ISO and delete these files listed below: 989LOGO.STR EIDETIC.STR INTRO.STR Not sure if it's fully playable or not and it has some controller issues, when your gun's clip is empty you won't be able to do anything until y...

Re: Good read! A Dolphin’s Tale: The Story of GameCube
Thank God they chose NOT to use motion control on the GC. Most of the stuff I play on my Wii are either GameCube games, Wii games with GC controller support or Wii homebrew that supports the GC controller. I also see that Eidos is to blame for third party devs pulling their support. Now I'm glad Squ...

Re: And another
Yeah I likely will, very soon. Ideally I'd like to get something that runs without any need for a boot disc though, is that something that's possible yet? I was under the impression from my preliminary poking around that all of the SD adapters needed a boot disc still. Not that it's a deal breaker,...

Re: WiiKey Fusion, WODE, XenoGC, SDGecko - OUT OF PRODUCTION
Does SD Media Launcher still being manufactured? Is there a possibility of making some kind of exploit in the gamecube menu to load homebrew? I'm thinking in a distant future where homebrew enablers won't be so easy to find. I hope they sill have some as I'd like one of those boot discs, I was goin...
