Panasonic Q Problems

I have a Q which is refusing to open it's tray. In fact, the only buttons on the front which work are the power (connected separately from the other buttons) and game reset button which goes directly to the cube pcb. All the other buttons do nothing. I have opened it up and putting a game in there r...

Re: Genesis Plus GX

Well he adds to the SVN every few days so it's at least still very active. It can't be too long before a full release now, the new GUI is looking pretty solid now.

Re: SMS Plus GX

How hard would it be to add a option to manually set the the rgb levels? I've tried all the options and they all appear too dark when compared to my real sms II maybe that's because off the crappy rf cable it used but imo a few shades lighter would reflect the real hardware better atm i'm using a o...

From this page: http://code.google.com/p/genplus-gx/wiki/Compiling However, I would appreciate if you respect the following points: * current SVN build should always be considered as unstable and work in progress: you are free to compile the current source code but don't complain about bugs and don'...

I can verify they work great though, what a nice emu. All it needs is Mega CD support and I can die happy :)

Re: FCEU GX

Well we'd have to wait for you to work your magic I think anyway, the timing's been like this since 3.0.6 for GC (on PAL consoles at least).

Re: How would one "port" an emulator the the Gamecube?

Yeah it does, I know a fair bit about the ST but the Gamecube's a mystery to me at the moment.

Guess I'll have to look into it a bit more..

Is there a good resource on getting started with the GC?

Code: Select all

AUDIO_StartDMA();
though the timing's still messed up..

How would one "port" an emulator the the Gamecube?

I've been thinking for a while that I'd like to try my hand at this and have been poking through the various sources out there right now. I'm looking at the moment at having a go at porting Hatari (Atari ST emulator) which is based on SDL. I'm still quite a novice programmer so it'll be a mamoth tas...

Re: Snes9x GX 4.1.8 for Gamecube

I have noticed there are still some timing issues in this release but other than that it works very, very well!

Easily the best experience you can have without actually plugging in your SNES :)

Re: FCEU GX

Shame Tantric decided not to fix the GC version, the audio has been getting worse in each build and now as of r452 is completely broken :(

Someone suggested using 3.0.2 but that verison seems badly broken..

Finally a decent base for Gamecube users! I was beginning to think the platform was dead, fantastic to see it's still very much alive :D
