Re: DVD Issue After Wasp Fusion Install and Audio Streaming Question
Where on EARTH did you find a wasp fusion in 2019! they've disappeared! I remember I killed my actual Wii Key fusion, then in 2014 it was an absolute struggle to find wasp fusions to replace the WKF as they were gone... trusted some random in china to post them to me through nothing but emails and t...

Re: Gamecube Infinite Worklog
There is little protection circuits on your batteries to stop overcharging (cuts em off about 4.2-4.25v). You will want to take these off so you just have the positive and negative tabs exposed. then do a search on ebay for a charging PCB. Check your terminals with a multimeter to assure correct pol...

Re: SD Gecko in Swiss and NTSC issues
Yeah, it probably is the screen. The other board green screen lock ups on mario kart at 576 as well, but @ 480P is full colour.
480P is what I'm after.
When my desktops fixed I'll try an iso that gives the option for 50/60hz and see what happens.

Re: Definite autoboot swiss SD card.
they're down to the $10-$15 online
What's annoying is that was the first card I was going to buy, has the best reviews from the Camera Geek people... they praise it like it's the holy grail of SD cards.
If you use one, change the swiss settings to 16mhz down from 32.

Re: SD Gecko in Swiss and NTSC issues
Cheers mega, I couldn't see the switch for ports on the Gecko on that tiny screen. looks like you already have provided a fix emu, I didn't try all the settings Force video mode: mario kart green screen and lock up 576p, PAL B&W 240p, 480p, NTSC, colour with black bars 288p resident evil 4 576p ...

Re: SD Gecko in Swiss and NTSC issues
Its somewhere between a max safe cut and almost wtf cut. I made sure I kept c74 due to problems mentioned on last mobo. Definitely not over trimmed. Pin 7 outputs comp video not pin 9 like ntsc boards. Also could never understand how a preamp ic could require 12v as preamp signals in car headunits a...

Re: SD Gecko in Swiss and NTSC issues
Uncut board = colour ntsc Cut = certain games colour, others dont load, most load with black bars top and bottom. All Wkf menu. Swiss on cut board = pal good, all ntsc loading and fullscreen but b&w So there could be a software fix. I know with my uncut board and no c74 ntsc games load in colour...

Any idea on the trace ive cut thats giving me b&w ntsc? Im thinking something to do with oscillator crystal?

SD Gecko in Swiss and NTSC issues
I am using the alternate points directly to GPU via points for my SD gecko. I am able to read from the SD Gecko using Swiss Flasher, hence I was able flash R256 autoboot successfully ...but R256 will not recognise any cards in the Gecko. Nothing happens when I select it. When I boot swiss flasher ag...

Re: Worklog: unnamed GameCube portable
No way above 5v will probably fry the IC.
If you have 5v, ground, and left and right audio wired cofrectly the amp should do the rest and volume control should work

Re: My 2nd portable, another GCP [WIP]
strange things happening with this cut board. I don't know if PAL is too different from NTSC boards, but quite a few components are placed differently to the cutting guide and pin 7 was the video output not 9. I am getting full audio, and very good quality with nothing but the 1.x v and 3.x v rails ...

Hey Oaisus, nice work. Coming along nicely.
Where did you get those triggers - they look like they can provide partial trigger functionality.. I may not be able to fit the controllers gizmo that handles that job in my case.. would love a set of them.
Cheers

Hi guys, Started work on my 2nd portable, I had a few faulty gamecubes laying around so why not. I want this one to be a lot smaller. The case measures 158 x 90 x 40mm The cut is somewhere between a maximum safe cut, and almostwtf cut, but i cut the corner off the power connector too (couldn't be bo...

Re: L10N37's C4ROM3GCP
Try using some pins where you have to and traces where available, or megas breakout board would be far easier to solder to and connects to original cable. With the solder globs just dip desoldering braid in flux, get your iron real hot and put the fluxed braid on the globbed pins and heat, should so...
