Re: Swiss Nightly Build

Version 649 solved the problem of Resident Evil 4 (ntsc) and Skies of Arcadia - Legends (ntsc). And must have solved the random freezes of games like Geist (ntsc). But no game that uses 2 ISOS works due to naming.

Re: Enhanced mGBA

The Windows version has the lockAspectRatio = 0... I think this function only removes the black bars in GBA mode at Full. The Strech mode would not be necessary. I also think that Game Boy games are running in Super Game Boy mode. You could implement the options to choose from modes. How to start S...

But even when I was using Action Replay codes decrypted, it didn't work for Swiss!
Some codes may:

1- Not working
2 - Prevent the game from starting
3 - Cause random freezing.

Some codes need the converted Master Code. Example:

C4289294 0000FF01 AR

C6289294 800018A8 WiiRD
E2000002 80008000

Re: Cause of Gamecube freezes with buzzing sound

I was able to rip Star Wars Rogue Leader with no issues. The checksum was okay. That was the most scratched disk. So I'm thinking it's hardware, perhaps overheating... How many times have you repeated this process? My first GameCube used to have problems only after a while. I remember after playing...

... Metroid Prime... Could be wear and tear of mechanical parts. I had 3 GameCubes and it always happened. It was only solved when I started playing with Swiss and aligned in 2K. In that case, I would test with emulators or games that are loaded once. ...I did not think it was the disc because sure...

The Windows version has the lockAspectRatio = 0 option that removes black bars from Gameboy games. Is it possible to implement this function in a future release? Thank you.

Thanks for this latest version. Finally an emulator with cheat support in the GameCube. The codes can not be turned on or off at any time. But the joker command in GBA helps solve this.

Re: Swiss Nightly Build

I just wanted to post that this problem seems to be fixed as of .4 rev 634. Thanks for the great work guys. Are you using the NTSC version? PAL and NTSC versions have different structures. Ocarina and Majora's in PAL version starts with DOL. The NTSC version starts with the ELF. If you are using th...

Re: Swiss Nightly Build

No point doing such a thing, always go forward. I understand. But new versions seem to be more sensitive to ISO formats. A user was having problems with the Colosseum that was solved with version 431. I tested the version he used and the same game worked. But my ISO has been modified. There must be...

Re: Swiss Nightly Build

I have discovered why Resident Evil Zero does not start correctly on new versions of Swiss. This problem is caused by naming the files for disk swapping to happen. I've always named the files like this: XXX Disc 1 XXX Disc 2 The game only works with different names. Renaming for XXX Disc A / B make...

After a few tests, the latest version that runs the game is bulild 366, af=ter that the game hangs after pressing start at the character select screen.
When you have compatibility issues, try version 431. And try version 1.02 of Melee. If you are not using ...

Re: N64 games on swiss

Oh interesting. Since the emulators are noticeable slow, will the games run faster with this method? Could you send a link for more information about this method? Do not have much hope through injection. The number of games is small (maybe 6) and has no support for saving progress. In fact, only St...

Re: Hu-Go! GX unofficial

I was able to understand Hu-Go! GX and his limitations. I'll explain how to make a BIN that starts faster, reduced size and without the "Load Error" bug when a second game is started. You need to have these 3 programs: Turborip, Daemon Tool Lite and ImgBurn. BIN / CUE, CCD / IMG / SUB ... Mount the ...

Re: Hu-Go! GX unofficial

No, you misunderstood me. The CD games won't run for me, it doesn't matter if i use ISO or BIN, convert them from CCD, or use my own rips (which is my preferred method). The PC Engine Super CD-ROM2 System bios screen says "Load error!" when you press run. Trying to start from a CUE gives me a hard ...

I tried and I gave up. You can check Github and try asking to resolve this issue. Maybe they make it as simple as the Genesis Plus GX.

Games do not run for me in ISO nor BIN format, so i really wasn't aware. BIN is easy. There is a website that the games are on CCD / IMG / SUB. Just mount with Virtual Clone Drive, for example. Then just convert the virtual disk with AnyBurn to BIN / CUE. It should be easy to mount with other types...

Re: FCE Ultra and Purple Artwork Images

Hey guys. I think I have a slight bug when working with Artwork/Covers/Screenshots. I figured out that the program works with png files and that the image size has to be small in order to work. Resident Evil 0 loads just fine for me with Swiss 563. Indeed I can't get audio to work with Super Mario Sunshine. Do you use the PAL version of Zero? I just checked again, video patches shouldn't be enabled by default in 563. Do post your results though.
I tried various combinations without success. A user is having problems with Super Mario Sunshine with this version. I'll wait for updates.
