Re: WiiKey/Wasp Fusion SD card Slot Schematic and Wiring
I forgot to download the files from filedropper, and it looks like the links have expired. Would you mind to re-upload them (or maybe add them as an attachment)?

Re: Flashing swiss to qoob pro, from dvd
Button command? How would you enter that when the cube is off... Just plug in the cable when the cube is off and it should work (if yours isn't broken)

Re: Flashing swiss to qoob pro, from dvd
Back from the days that I had a Qoob Pro, I just made sure the cube was turned off when connecting the Qoob to the PC. If that doesn't work, check if your USB cable isn't broken...

Re: Dolphin on Ubuntu
You can use the dolphin PPA instead if you dislike manually compiling: https://launchpad.net/~dolphin-emu/+archive/ubuntu/ppa
Code: Select all
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:dolphin-emu/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install dolphin-emu

Re: Shuriken USB (USB Gecko SE (clone))
Either rip using a Wii (to USB) or get a proper DVD drive on your pc. I used my DVD drive in the past, but the Wii is a lot faster at ripping games.

Re: Bricked my wii but have bootmii and priiloader
Last time I unbricked my wii, pre-bootmii era, I made an update disc myself and booted the Wii into recovery mode using a Gamecube controller in port 4 (google for the steps, I'm not sure anymore). Maybe you can do that - or do this using an autoboot dvd?

It looks like (on the third picture) that the fan is fully exposed. Maybe it's better to add something to prevent stuff from entering that hole breaking the fan.

This looks very promising. Getting rid of that proprietary chip is a hell of a good idea. I can't wait to see what you'll do with the cube next

Re: Heya!
I did some quick searching for what the console without the box is around here (mine came with the box actually, which was a surprise for me (it came in today)), but the average price seems to be ~€30 for the console + cables. Anyways, the console came in today and works perfectly normal. I'll look ...
Re: Heya!
Upon searching for both the component cable and the MEGAdrive V4 kit, I saw that both were at least 4 times the price of the gamecube itself... That's expensive :o (I paid €25 for the GC+BBA, which is a steal anyways) Anyways, the reason why I was looking for those legacy modchips, is that those can...
Re: Heya!
Oh, that certainly looks awesome. Back when I had my old gamecube, I streamed games using the BBA (didn't have any trouble with that). The Wiikey Fusion certainly looks awesome, but it completely replaces the gamecube drive, which is a shame in my eyes. (I was looking for the Qoob Pro/Viper Extreme ...
