Re: Swiss Nightly Build
EDIT: Also, would it be possible to allow copying between JP format and US format memory cards? This would be a pretty nice feature I already reported that the SJIS formated MC's don't work and emu_kidid said that he need to rewrite something for that. As far as I know, he's already in the middle o...

Re: Swiss Nightly Build
EDIT: I have tried booting both units without the BBA and there was no DSI exception. Having just the GBP was fine. EDIT 2: I also tried booting with the BBA installed but no cable plugged in and everything was fine again. I guess it's not handling network initialization well? New build posted, ple...

Re: IDE-EXI new batch
Excellent, can't wait to get my hands on one. I have a "slim" Gamecube project that I'd like to get back to and having an internal HDD would be a nice addition

Re: WASP, MegaDrive v3, and/or Swiss being picky about SD Ca
I'm going to do some more thorough testing later to see if rips/homebrews are loading properly (would have done it yesterday but I was way down with a fever.) It seems the problem only seems to occur if the Cube is on immediately after an insert at the moment, so I'm going to make sure everything wi...

Every card that I've tested is autobooting.

Re: WASP, MegaDrive v3, and/or Swiss being picky about SD Ca
The mainboard is DOL-CPU-30 and it is Japanese. I switched DIP 2 to off and left the rest on, which I'm pretty sure is the correct region setting. As for the SD Card, I have been trying other cards that I have nearby, so unless they are all derped and/or dying then I have my doubts. But yeah, if I p...

Re: WASP, MegaDrive v3, and/or Swiss being picky about SD Ca
Basically, if I put an SD Card in and turn on the cube almost immediately after doing so, it will hang on the Init screen. On the other hand, if I put in a card and then wait about a minute or so, it will start up just fine. It's almost as if the SD Card has to "ferment" in the slot a bit ...

Re: WASP, MegaDrive v3, and/or Swiss being picky about SD Ca
I have updated and that went smoothly, as far as I can tell. It does properly recognize the SD card and all the correct storage info, the only remaining issue is when I turn it on immediately after inserting a new SD Card, I have to wait a bit before things initialize properly.

Re: WASP, MegaDrive v3, and/or Swiss being picky about SD Ca
I re-did the soldering of P29, still no fix. If I let the card sit in the slot for a while and then turn the cube on it'll work, but a recently changed card causes the issue. Also, the values for things such as available space do not display correctly.emu_kidid wrote:Yes it's possible.

Re: WASP, MegaDrive v3, and/or Swiss being picky about SD Ca
The flex seems to be fine and I have re-seated it a few times. Would P29 be capable of causing this issue? I may have not soldered it as well as I thought I did.emu_kidid wrote:Swiss only cares that your card is FAT16/FAT32 when it comes to WKF/WASP, you should check the flex from WASP to SD

WASP, MegaDrive v3, and/or Swiss being picky about SD Cards
So, I recently got my WASP and MegaDrive v3 from BadAssConsoles. Swiss appears the IPL just fine, but Swiss hangs on "Init Wiikey Fusion" Most of the time with all the SD cards I tested. Is there a way that I have to format the card or what is it? I've only had 3 successful boots of many, ...
