Well I just got confirmation via Not64 that my TV supports 240p60 but not 288p50 wierd,
yet it does 480i60-1080p60 fine including 576i/p,
no wonder the NES games in Animal Crossing PAL ngc version wouldn't show up.
Is their any homebrew I can use to see if it supports 288i50?

Re: PSX files larger than 4gb on USB
Not sure why you'd want over 650MB on psx games unless you've got multi disc games combined as one single image.
As for what you want, you can use a ntfs partition via samba / smb instead

Re: Need help with GC portable battery charging
Sounds ok to me, basically just connecting all the - and + points together to create the two power rails
which also allows you to charge each battery independantly..

Re: Need help with GC portable battery charging
Correct me if i'm wrong but I don't think it's a good idea to connect them in parallel,
because unless the both sets of the 3 batteries match 100% voltage,
4.5v x2 they'll be fighting eachover to supply the current in the right direction, say 4.4v vs 4.5v
this might only apply to AC though.

If the batteries are connected in series end to end
-1+,-2+,-3+
+4-,+5-,+6-
then to charge them you only need to supply the power to 3+ and 6- providing -1 and +4
are linked together, what I suspect you've done is

Re: Goals for Swiss 0.4
Nintendont simply won't work with homebrew because it looks for specific patterns/functions from the gamecube SDK to patch, and homebrew doesn't use them. So it patches libraries used by the official sdk? I guess that explains the pad reset in homebrew and action replay as it doesn't patch pad.c / ...

Re: Goals for Swiss 0.4
Last 3 revisions or so it started to working with the bios + mc emulation too, no error screen, but it still has the missing texture the same as loadmii. Gonna retry it with a retail apploader instead, if emukidid doesn't mind I can upload the gcm I used for others to test with the homebrew apploade...

You can crosscheck the game id printed on the back cover or disc, I use the following sites www.gametdb.com redump.org datomatic.no-intro.org not sure how you'd check for multi-5 etc over than looking for country flags on the cover, some let you select the language in-game overs set it by autodetect...

Re: RE games (GC) widescreen hack like RE-mastered possible?
About what? mednafen_psx_libretro_wii.dol irc core options allows you to set the rendered native resolution, then under settings you can set a multiplier to scale it, so for the Wii you'd set it as 640x480 and then set the custom ratio to H1.1, V1.2 which would give you 704x576 just shy of 16:9 720...

Re: RE games (GC) widescreen hack like RE-mastered possible?
GC native is 640*528, the closet 16:9 resolution is 640*360 lower than NTSC 4:3 640x480p, PAL 4:3 576p being 540*576, PAL 16:9 is 720*576 and NTSC is 720*480. The only way to gain 16:9 with correct aspect ratio on a gc is to run it letterboxed fake 16:9 like re4 aka 16:6, PAL 720x384 or NTSC 720x32...

Re: Goals for Swiss 0.4
I made some progress getting swiss to boot with Nintendont, I remade the gcm with the gamecube sdk so now it doesn't include the extra file systems, it runs without the gc bios + mc emulation but with missing graphics the same as loadmii, using the gc bios + mc emulation it makes it past the purple ...

No I mean build isos of WiiXplorer with custom game ids / titles for each game, then use cfg usb loader to run them with cheats enabled and then from within WiiXplorer launch your WiiWare / VC game channel game. Alternatively you could try extracting the wad contents and converting them to isos http...

You could try building multiple fake WiiXplorer game isos and running it, it has channel and nand support.

Re: Animal Crossing (GCN/WIIRD/PAL/ENGLISH)
Thanks for the jokered code , guess it's a Wii only problem then, strange because it outputs 480i and 480p fine with the NTSC-U version.
Some of the Wii VC channel games include a component interlace mode via Z+1+A or Z+2+A, I don't how it is any different to regular 576i output though.
