Is retail game compatibility with this any better nowadays vs discs?

Where can I get a GCVideo board? I don't have them time or skills to build it myself.

What is the big appeal of these, rather than an SD-MEMORY card adapter?

@zethirdone,
Where did you get your mini DVD-R from? I doubt I will need 100 of them, since I want to get a WASP, and only use DVD-R for audio streaming games.

Launching swiss from Qoob SX?
I just got a Qoob SX, and wondering if it is possible to boot straight into swiss from the Qoob SX so I won't need a disc.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Full sized DVD mod tutorial?
I have searched on this subject, but with not much success, since most tutorials have out of date pics/info. And a Viper case is hard to find (and I can never find one for my Platinum system).
Does anyone know of a good tutorial to perform this mod?
Thank you!

Re: Wasp + Qoob
A wasp + qoob would be useful to boot games with audio streaming with the disc drive, while the WASP will handle all other titles.

Re: Game Boy Interface
Yes, I was speaking in general. I see a lot of advantages to the HDMI mod. I am wondering if the plug and play HDMI adapter will be available. That would make the component cables obsolete, unless you are a collector. Plus I read somewhere the HDMI mod has options such as widescreen, OSD, and digita...

Re: Game Boy Interface
The HDMI mod is,still a much cheaper alternative than the overpriced component cables. When the HDMI mod is more readily available, it will have more of an appeal.

Re: Game Boy Interface
@funkwad, What kind of display are you using with your Framemeister? I have considered one, but I am still not convinced that it is better than using an RGB CRT. Any idea where one can get an HDMI mod for GC? Of course, I have heard of GCvideo, but you would either have to make your own, or buy a pr...

What is the advantage to using the GBA as a controller? The D-pad is too small for my taste. SNES controller D-pad is perfect

@polog64, I am out of town, so I can't test my Gamecube/GB Player setup, which is attached to my XC-2950C RGB (15khz)/ VGA (31khz) CRT (via HDMI mod, and active HDMI to VGA converter) monitor. I am wondering what other people with CRT setups have experienced as far as your issues with lag and tearin...

Re: RE: Re: Game Boy Interface
Any chance someone can make ISO's of the awesome GBI? Or could point me to a how to? I tried the how to I found on these forums but no luck :( With all the updates coming out as often as they do, it makes more sense to burn Swiss to a disc (assuming you have a mod chip installed), and get a Memory ...
