I'm wondering if it's worth just using the basic version as I do like the border options and I'm using it on CRT so the lag can't be that bad surely? I don't recommend using it on a CRT unless you have YPbPr/RGBHV and can input 120 Hz. I was also wondering if the GBA controller link cable works wit...

You need to set the format to NTSC or enable 60 Hz in a GameCube game. And no, it's not running slower.

It must be in the GBI folder on the root of your SD card. Set --overlay-id=<0-19> to change it.

It's possible you're seeing rounding errors exaggerated by 8-bit linear RGB.
Try --input-gamma=1. --output-gamma=1. --matrix=identity

And also, are those the only borders (overlay) available? I wanted a black GBA type border, but I can't find the same format. You can make your own, the tool is gxtexconv in devkitPPC, but there's something like that as --overlay-id=2 The "point" borders don't seem to work for me. That's ...

Make sure the screen mode is set to default and zoom is 2x. Don't use nearest neighbor.
