Re: Swiss 1080i

It does double the vertical resolution for 60/50 FPS games. 720p isn't practical.

Re: Game Boy Interface

There's nothing you can do when zooming in 240p, you need at least twice the resolution.

Your question is contradictory, but simply disable the image doubling filter with --filter=none.

That's odd, my triple buffering setup should have higher latency.

There's definitely a possibility, I just need to get around to it.

Re: Game Boy Interface

I'm having some issues running the high fidelity version off of a sd launcher. I keep getting these odd scrolling diagonal lines. I've tried tinkering with the display setting when booting though swiss but not much seems to work. I am currently using original av cables. Set the video format to NTSC.

What's 544p? Try deleting swiss.ini on the SD card.

Re: Game Boy Interface

I finally broke down and used my Wii to install the file onto my GC Memory Card, but I'm not pleased about it. It may be a minor quibble to you, but when I power on my GC to play a GB, GBC, or GBA game, it actually ANNOYS me to search through a Swiss menu to load up GBI. You don't have to use Swiss.

...Except that it's not a GBI disc, it's a Memory Card Boot Disc. Loading it just goes back to the GameCube Startup screen. :(
Use a Wii to put GBI onto a memory card, or buy an SD card adapter.

There's an ISO included for booting from a GameCube Memory Card or SD Card Adapter.

Note: That's megabits. It's only large enough for one ROM. I can't say I've ever thought of supporting this...

Re: Newbie PAL Gamecube questions. Please help!

They're games running at normal speed in 50Hz.

TimeSplitters 2 has clipping issues in 480p, and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time just got fixed.

Re: Newbie PAL Gamecube questions. Please help!

1) Yes, or better.
2) Yes, but PAL-optimized titles can run fast. 576p is also an option.
3) No.

Swiss doesn't allow you to use 480p if you don't have the component video cable or equivalent.
