Re: In Game Reset works, but not for Xeno Crisis
Nothing works with Xeno Crisis as it is homebrew/unlicensed software.

The built-in video encoder is incapable of outputting NTSC, so component is your only option.

Re: The Struggling Emulators (N64, PS1, NEO GEO, MAME)
PS1- There aren't a ton of PS1 games I'm particularly interested in, but for any to be seen, the emulation for it is terrible, like the N64, and the fact that it is barely running even for wii is a defeating sign for the gc, but perhaps work could be done on this in the future to potentially play s...

Re: RAM Disk device since Swiss v0.6r1534
Did somebody ever successfully performed such a mod? We haven't yet been successful with the internal mod due to an initialization problem. Does the internal memory mod still allow the use of the GBPlayer? It would. Will it be of any use to get closer to Triforce titles support? No. Would 32MB on t...

Re: RAM Disk device since Swiss v0.6r1534
ARAM can be expanded by replacing the internal 16 MiB SDR SDRAM chip with a 32 MiB one, or by placing a 2/4/8/16/32 MiB chip on the Hi Speed Port. The RAM disk device creates a exFAT formatted disk on the Hi Speed Port expansion. There is currently no purpose for it, but could be used as a patch dev...

It's because it can't be reliably detected once initialized. It's already usable for most/all network functions in Swiss and other homebrew.

They aren't levels, nor removal. They're different choices of filters, and they differ with 240p/288p.

It varies with the IPL ROM revision. 1.2 has ciphered padding there.Borg Number One wrote: ↑Fri Jan 05, 2024 10:55 pmWhat is the sense of the data from 0x001AEEE9 to 0x001AFEFF and why is it "0x00" in the encrypted ipl.bin file?

The junk data wasn't regenerated for the new game ID. You can add this line under junkIdSubstitutions to "fix" it.
Code: Select all

Re: [Not64] Bug? — only renders at 480p internally even when using different video modes
1) That's a bug with the video interface. The framebuffer is really 320x240.
2) UI textures with point sampling look nasty that way. We also can only do up to 640x528 in a single pass.

Re: [Not64] Bug? — only renders at 480p internally even when using different video modes
For 576p, this is intentional as many games also stretched vertically from a 320x240 framebuffer on PAL.
For 240p, it's actually 640x240 with 3x MSAA.

It's not encrypted, the whole executable is LZMA2-compressed.
