Re: Swiss Compatable SD cards

Anyone know if there's any difference in using micro sd cards with an adapter over regular sd cards?

Re: Swiss SD Gecko Game Buzzing > Freeze Issue

...has anyone else experienced the same issue? I tested the American version of Super Mario Strikers and had no problems. You can even reduce your size. Because it is a repetitive game (like any sport) I may not have played enough. If you want, I can test where it's causing the freeze. Disc is your...

Re: Swiss SD Gecko Game Buzzing > Freeze Issue

Disc is your best bet for now. Rogue Leader is one of those games that are sensitive to the way Swiss reads from an SD card (and disc access timings in general), Metroid Prime NTSC as well, and I suppose Mario Strikers is one of them too. Thanks for that man, at least I know it's not just be and di...

Re: Swiss SD Gecko Game Buzzing > Freeze Issue

That's just one of Swiss's countless compatibility bugs. Ohhh so it's not my sd then or iso? Was about to get a new sd, was thinking it could be the sd card loosing connection, thought there was something wrong with the pins. Any way around this? Was going to try boot from disc instead of sd but re...

Swiss SD Gecko Game Buzzing > Freeze Issue

Hey Guys I'm using a 32gb class 10 sandisk micro sd with a regular size sd adapter which contains my iso's. I have an issue, particularly I've noticed with only mario stikers (mario football) so far and rogue squadron ii when playing the game at random spots there will be an audio hiccup and then th...

Aslong as it's better than composite. And then being able to play an unsmeard n64 on LCD would be a bonus without the hassle of buying and installing ultrahdmi

Ahh I just saw a based of gbi in there so assumed it used the gameboy player.

No too sure, asking on thoughts, the bloke says it's for a custom board programmed. It won't utilise the dvi component port but I wonder if it can still deliver nice video quality through the composite port

Re: Getting the best picture quality from the gamecube

Tried forcing 480p but just makes the picture worse. You need component/HDMI for 480p. So the wii and gamecube composite offers the same picture quality? Wii composite is better, but Wii component is worse in 480p. They're equal using GCVideo DVI/HDMI. I guess buying the cheap wii to hd would be th...

Re: Getting the best picture quality from the gamecube

GCVideo DVI/HDMI will give the best quality, but don't buy zeldaxpro's plug-and-fry. Does forcing 480p on swiss give a sharper picture? Yes. The Wii will be slightly cheaper but it's not the real thing. Picture quality is the same. Not in 480p. Unless using the Wii version of GCVideo. Thanks extrem...

Getting the best picture quality from the gamecube

Hey Guys!
What's the best and cheapest way to get the sharpest picture quality from gamecube:
1. nintendont on the wii with wiitohdmi adapter
2. gamecube plug n play hdmi
Does forcing 480p on swiss give a sharper picture?
Cheers!

Just adding to the compatibility issues for latest swiss nightly build, Need for speed carbon doesnt work on the latest swiss nightly build but works on swiss 0.3 rev 174. It crashes before the loading screen after the intro video. Spyro A Heros Tail crashes at the nintendo logo screen but also work...

Game Crash - Swiss

So I'm booting my gamecube iso's on the gamecube through swiss latest nightly revision. First problem is with Mario Football randomly while playing the game will just freeze/crash and you'll just hear a loud buzzing noise until you turn the gamecube off. This happens pretty frequently and I'm wonder...
