emu_kidid, did you actually build the adapter from his instructions/notes? I'm curious what the software will be like to select a particular game from the hard drive. Is it controllable from the GC or is it similar to the WODE where you have an on-screen display on the HDD interface. Hopefully this...

There could be multiple reasons, eg. The fan died, power button broke, power plug loose, or just wants to use a newer component (DOL 101 is newer than DOL 001 and therefore may be better quality from the older one).gtmtnbiker wrote:Why are you replacing the switch? Is it because it's defective?

I just took apart a Silver DOL-101 and the whole fan assembly is the same as the Black, Indigo DOL-001 i have.

I know it is a shame that most of it is outdated but some of it is still usefull to many. BTW emu_kidid great work on bringing back the awsomeness that is the cube. Also did you happen to have any tutorials of your own for programming with the cube? And what language do you use(or is better) C or C++?
