Can an SD Media Launcher make use of that Serial Port 2 to load something from it? I would guess no.

Re: Interesting take on the demise of our beloved GameCube
The main reason I see for gamecube's failure was bad management from Nintendo. From marketing it as a kids thing (which ruled out a lot of older gamers) to missing opportunities the other two big consoles used like being able to go online. Even if it was rudimentary on the ps2 it still worked. With ...

Well, what you have is the gc usb adapter. This is a 3rd party accessory.

Re: Official GameCube SD Adapter DOL-019, a few pics.
The label says SD Card adapter. I'm shocked that this exists. I guess it must have come out late in the GC's life when Nintendo was already resigned to the fact that there were ways to run homebrew on the system? It came out early not late in gc's life. If anything they stopped providing it because...

Re: DVD Drive Emulator Question
A video says more than a thousand words. :D I have fixed the issues with audio streaming. I added Swiss support (Swiss also had to be modified) so you can select games. I think this makes more sense than creating a custom menu. Swiss also handles the region-free booting of games, so that is quite c...

Re: pso 1&2 servers still online?
For further information you should probably read things up on their site. I did play on their server, but that was somewhere last year. You need to register and then activate your game there.

Well, you can use composite with scart as well. You got your pal gamecube this way back then. Composite cable + Scart Adapter for TV. That's why I wrote to get the RGB cable as it wasn't really clear from op.

Get yourself a Gamecube RGB Cable. They are quiet cheap and already increase your image quality over normal composite cables.

Re: The Ultimate Gamecube Controller!
I saw mods online about people replacing the C-stick cap with a left stick cap (with modification). Haven't had the chance to check if it makes playing easier. But it probably is a nice idea. About spraying the controller golden ... there is a Starlight Controller which is already golden I guess. ht...

Even if, you would need to buy an adapter which is most likely more expensive than just getting that gba<->gamecube cable.
