Re: Swiss 0.3

Hi! It's been a long time since I used my Gamecube. Today I was going to test some games with the new Swiss 0.3 (I didn't use the Gamecube since Swiss 0.2 r94) and I have a problem. I have an IDE-EXI adapter and Swiss 0.2r94 still works perfect, but I tried to use a lot of Swiss 0.3 (r189, r210 and ...

Re: Temporary Compatibility list - SUBMIT YOUR RESULTS HERE

Well we never deleted your comments, we just tried to merge them as good as possible. Having two lists was never a goal, thats why we started the wiki. We agreed on the wiki layout like that for many reasons, e.g. that always the last version of swiss should be used for testing etc. I'm not trying ...

But I still don't know what IDE-EXI v2 is. Is some kind of new device? I want to have it :D

Re: Swiss 0.2

Sorry for my double post but I want to tell you that IDE-EXI doesn't work at all. I try to boot the 3 versions of swiss (that came in the last package) with my SD Gecko in Slot A and I use IDE-EXI in Slot B and I always have the same error. I attach a screen capture.

Re: mame-gc supported games proposal

OMG!!! Are you going to build a MAME-GC??? Please add IDE-EXI support because it would be awesome to load all the games from the HDD. I made a list of classic games that you could test (especially multiplayer games :)): 1942 driver (1942.c) * 1942 1943 driver (1943.c) * 1943 Arkanoid driver ...

Re: Swiss 0.2

Okay, I just wanted to make clear, that the patched images are only useful for swiss. The prepatcher before r102 can't patch big files (>16mb) successfully (no more gamecube memory available), so if goldeneye has a 17 mb dol file, you have to patch it again. (The new patcher splits the file in chun...

Re: Swiss 0.2

SrTommy, the prepatcher modifies the image to redirect all reads to sdcard. so it is useless to burn it afterwards. create a backup before you patch it. I don't wanna burn the game, I only want to know if the "bug" in <r102 versions will ruin the ISO image so I can't play the game even wi...

Re: Swiss 0.2

Hi! I would like to know what is the "fix" in the pre-patcher in r102 version. Because I tested a lot of games with r94 version and recently I tested Goldeneye: Rogue Agent and asked me for a pre-patch and have a file of 17mb, and then swiss doesn't do anything. The screen goes black. I ho...

Amazing!!! Thanks for the present!! :D. Can I use this version in the Viper Extreme? Or can you make a compatible version? :)

Merry Christmas to all of you :)

Re: Temporary Compatibility list - SUBMIT YOUR RESULTS HERE

awesome testing SrTommy. I have a few recommendations though: 1. When you say "Audio Streaming works", this is incorrect because it will never work. I believe you mean, the background music in this game works - that's irrelevant because it should always work unless it's an audio streaming...

Re: Swiss 0.1

The pre-patcher in Swiss shouldn't fragment files as it writes back to the original position in the file. 1. If you don't stop DVD motor, the laser is active but it is not reading anything (idle) - next step is to try and remedy this. 2. Best to put an original game in just-in-case the game isn't 1...

Re: Swiss 0.1

Thanks for the update Emu_Kidid :). It's interesting the integrated pre-patcher..... but I have a question. If the pre-patcher modifies the ISO it can fragment the HDD, isn't it? And it's recommended to make a backup before pre-patch the game, isn't it? It would be interesting that in the future Swi...
