Ashen do you think that it would work to have the wiikey fusion working on the GC as it does on the Wii?.. having it in-between motherboard and DVD?

I've tested this - IDE-SATA01 ( http://www.span.com/product_info.php?products_id=6866)
It works well for both 2.5 and 3.5 inch drives, the lag is noticeable on 5400rpm drives, but that is to be expected I assume.
