Re: Are things going more or less smoothly with Wii64/WiiSX?
Could anyone make work this new version in gamecube? I´ve tried with two different micro sd and using the same method I´ve always used to boot homerew but everytime it resets my cube. I would like to see if the gamecube version has the same improvements as wii version has.

Re: Media Player CE
Here the configuration that better fits me to watch mp4 videos using Media Player CE:
-Video codec: 462H
-Video bitrate: 255 Kbps
-Resolution: 640 x 360
-Audio codec: FFAAC
-Audio bitrate: 100 Kbps
-Audio samples: 44 Khz, Stereo
With this configuration mp4 videos play without lags.

Re: Mini DVD Player
So it's not a DVD player app per say Just plays AVI files from the DVD-ROM drive Not exactly. This app is very similar to the one extrems made for wii and gamecube but with the addition to play mini-dvd´s. I have not tested any media off dvd, but tested several kinds of video formats off my microsd...

When you refer to file management, do you refer to single file management or can we already manage folders?

Re: Media Player CE
In my case I don´t play around with it: I use it every week to watch anime. Unfortunately I have to download it from certain site because it is mostly in .mp4 and Media Player CE has a little issue with .mp4; in your case you have tow options: modificate the application by yourself or try mfe-distro...

I have a 3rd party multitap, that is why I want to test it with one of those games. Does anyone remember a lightweight 4 players title for ps1? My sd is almost full.badsector wrote:I don't own one, but there were Multitaps for more Controllers. I think I played Crash Team Racing with four players once.

What are you using, Wiisx or cubesx? I´m trying to test that out with Crash Team Racing but the game stops in the screen ´´Sony Computer Entertainment America Presents´´, so I cannot play it.

From those 3 conditions, I only have a homebrew capable GC, if it helps. I do not have a usb gecko because by the time I figured it would be useful having one, it was nearly impossible to get one.

Retroarch has port of PrBoom engine but I wonder if anyone had succeded loading any .wad with it? Anyone? Emmmm, me? I got all the Doom packages working with sound and such. I can play Final Doom, Doom 2 TNT and Plutonia, completed both Doom 1 & 2, keeping an eye for the other two left :) Reall...

Re: Doom for the Gamecube
Try using RetroArch Wii and download the prboom.wad along with the corresponding wads for Final Doom, Doom 2, TNT and Plutonia Experiment. I have tested them all and they all work. Although, you might have to get some custom settings for the audio files, since you need to create something like a .c...

Re: MPlayer-CE video formats?
I have used that homebrew to play 50-60 mb mp4, in fact I use it to play almost all the anime I watch.AVI works better than mp4 but the the space it takes is a problem. I used some mkv files, but these are a little more difficult to work. Mpg, flv and 3gp also work most of the times. I think the sec...

Re: URGENT! Not64 20130408 Not Working with SD Media Launche
I have used it from both slot A and B with both SD Gecko and the adapter provided with the SDML, with cards one or the two slots and still works. If the issue persists try another card up to 4gb (the one that comes in the smart phones i.e.) and only place the cube64.dol file in the root of your card...

Re: URGENT! Not64 20130408 Not Working with SD Media Launche
The only I cannot do with this emu is loading zipped roms, but it works for me and I use the same SD Media launcher as you. I recommend you to erase all Not64/Cube64 related stuff, make a back up of your sd card and then format it to fat32, redownload again the emu and place it along with your backe...

Once you load swiss with a (micro)sd up to 4 gb, loading homebrew and backups is matter of seconds, so if you do not have soldering skills as many of us, this method is good deal.

Obviously Swiss does not support (yet?) fragmented files, so I cannot play gamecbe isos until I buy new micro sd card or find a slution to avoid fragmentation.

Re: Where do I start...
3. SD Media Launcher itself can only read up to a 2GB non SDHC SD card. From there you can swap once you've booted Swiss to any size SD/SDHC/SDXC SD card (I use a 128GB SDXC for instance) in the SD slot off the SD Gecko. (or as StreetWalker said, go the very complex route of a Wiikey Fusion/WASP (D...

To avoid those situations I would suggest to consult this site http://www.scamadviser.com if you are not sure if the site you are going to buy your stuff is safe. This is not a definitive solution but is very useful.
