I know this is not exactly what you have in mind here. But I'm fairly certain that this little project could be adapted for GC use pretty easily: http://hackaday.com/2012/02/13/wireless-controllers-for-all-your-retro-systems/ http://nfggames.com/forum2/index.php?topic=4393.0 I've actually thought ve...

Why are you using the PAL iso? Is it a verified good dump? Check the md5 on redump.org

You need to be a little more specific. What device exactly are you trying to boot from? SD gecko? Settings, etc?

Is metaradil you on the SVN page Magalomaniac?
- Add 480/576i forcing.
This finally makes Luigi's mansion PAL playable via WKF without the need for a component cable. I think I love you.

Thanks once again to all involved for keeping this great little piece of homebrew updated. :D

Re: Wii component quality across console revisions

I remember a while back reading about the PS2 slim having improved composite quality compared to its phatty brother, this was apparently because they changed some component(s) in a revision of the new slim consoles. I guess its possible here also.

Looks really clean ;) I'm glad you like it. The 2nd unit is yours. Seems veroboard would have been a better choice than perfboard? Yea. Veroboard would have been my first choice. But i'm fresh out, and not really low enough on supplies to warrant an order from Tayda yet. I still have a bunch of per...

The idea with the heat sink is that with the fins bent like they are the fan blows on them and hits the edges of the fins. Effectively cooling more efficiently. Or something. wind tunnel test to prove it or else its a myth https://www.gc-forever.com/mega/Ashen/FusionRev4/A2WindTunnelTestSection_zps...

Re: GameCube Fusion, rev 4. (worklog)

So as I said, I finally found a technique that helps aid in the filling of the cases when casting. Its such a silly thing that it almost makes me want to cry, as I went through a hell of a lot of dicking around trying to get these things to fill right, and even more frustration trying to paint the c...

Re: Devolution - Gamecube loader for Wii/Wii U updated to r2

Listen to tueidj. He is right. On the newer "family" Wii's it was possible to modify the drive so that GC games could still be read by the DVD drive. On the WiiU there is a chip that has been removed from the drive board that is used to read GC games. The images are gone now. but here is t...

RISE FROM THE DEAD! Yup, so 'ol Ashen has found some free time now that the kiddo's are back in school. I also found some magic pixie dust that makes these cast cases turn out pretty much perfect when cast. So no need to fiddle with painting and other silly nonsense. Expect progress. Soon. https://...

Re: Devolution - Gamecube loader for Wii/Wii U updated to r2

Yep, now that was an amazing find. How the hell did I miss that back when it happened? It seems like all that RAM is used converting large textures to a smaller size. I wonder if we dumped the textures and resized them beforehand if we could avoid the RAM overload/crashing. I might have to tinker a ...
