Orange gamecube makes clicking noise and cannot read disc
I got one orange GameCube that makes a clicking noise and won't read disc. The drive's potentiometer currently reads 540ohm. I tried adjusting it a few ohms backward even as low as 10ohms or 0 ohm but still not working. Already cleaned the lens with isopropyl. Any other ways to fix it?

Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Just confirmed, you have version 1.00 of the game and that does indeed freeze after choosing a map. I was testing with PAL and version 1.02 which don't have that problem. We'll be looking into it, find a 1.02 rip instead of using an ancient version of Swiss for now. sorry i thought i already update...

Please translate this Japanese Gamecube error
IMG_1155.JPG The error happens when i start the Swiss DVD i burned. It works perfectly if i hit the reset button on the Gamecube. It's not an issue with the dvd drive cause I've already pulled it off and tested it with another older gamecube unit with 2 video port at the back with no error. Can any...

Re: How do you boot Swiss from sdcard instead of the DVD Drive?
It works! Thank you!Streetwalker wrote:Swiss already has this feature. Put a boot.dol on your SD card and it will execute it at startup (it also detects that it's the same version so you don't end up in a bootloop). So you only need to burn one disc and you're done.

Re: Orig disc game freezes at start up screen
I experienced this also when using a Xeno GC. The Japanese game causes the Gamecube animation to freeze. Is there a workaround? I don't think it's the japan game cd that's causing it. The japan Gameboy Player disc does not freeze. I don't have any US games right now so i cant test further. I instal...
