Re: Game Boy Interface

Have a look at the Wiki, commands usage is well explained I guess, as I never dive into HF version tinkering. Stupid question but how do I set GBI to 480p? Is it a certain command that I append to the DOL? It depends how you load GBI, and what version you use. Typically, you set the options by hand...

Re: Game Boy Interface

Hey everybody, I just had GC Dual with GC Video put into my GCN. For some reason, I start up GBI and my TV gives me a message asking me to change the source resolution. Any ideas why? Thanks!!

Re: Game Boy Interface

Hey everyone, I’m looking for some help on this. I have a Gamecube that I exclusively use for GBI, and I’m looking to simplify the internals, and basically create a GBA Consolizer with my GameCube + Game Boy Player. I have removed the optical drive to save a lot of space, and now I’m wanting to shor...

Re: Game Boy Interface

480p is a necessary "evil" because of GCVideo DVI. Disable progressive scan if you don't want it. 360p is arguably better than 240p for the OSSC. Hey there Extrems, irrelevant question to this subject, but about Swiss. Can I uses Swiss to backup GC saves from memory cards, and then dump t...

Re: Game Boy Interface

Yes, you need to enable Game Boy Player enhancements to use Game Boy Player enhancements... Well that's just as obvious to me as it is to you, you kind, responsive developer, you lol. However my question about that to you was, is rumble a GBP Enhancement? I'm assuming by that response that it is. W...

If the option isn't grayed out in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, they are enabled. Do you have something in the link port?
The options for me are grayed out, and I don't have anything in the link port. I do have GBP Enhancements turned off though. Could that be what's causing it?

Re: Game Boy Interface

So the rumble in standard GBI either still does not work properly (tested with both Drill Dozer and Mario & Luigi Super Star Saga), or do I have to have Game Boy Player Enhancements enabled? Or am I missing something else by chance?

Re: Game Boy Interface

So, just tell me what info you need to suggest the best settings for me to add to the DOL for the best video quality through standard GBI. I have tried putting together a few different things (the HD60, interlace, clock 2x, size2x, scaler=nearest) and it has just turned out a little weird. I want th...

Re: Game Boy Interface

Could someone tell me what the best preset settings for the best quality are for GBI on a 1080p NTSC flatscreen with official component cables? Thanks, just want to know what I should set everything to without having to figure it all out and waste discs. I'm looking for the absolute best, pixel-perf...

Re: Game Boy Interface

It can be "--zoom=2.375", but it's "--zoom=2.375:2.375" to answer your question. Also, I've noticed something new with the rumble issue. When using a rumble enabled game, the rumble works through the cartridge on GBI, unless if the cartridge does not have built in rumble, the ru...

And when setting the offset and inputting negative integers, do I type it as "--offset=-2:-3", for example?

Re: Game Boy Interface

All 3 chroma locations are valid for the official component cables, but presumably not when modified for RGBHV, or using a PAL GameCube's RGBcvS. Unrelated question, but if I want to add the zoom argument to have it set to 2.375X, do I input it as "--zoom=<2.375:0>"? I don't know what I'm...

Exactly what they said. And it would be great to be able to see in the OSD when the rumble is enabled in GBI.

http://problemkaputt.de/gbatek.htm#biosmultibootsinglegamepak This would be the GBA BIOS/ROM/Save dumper, if you haven't replaced or misplaced it. Let me add an additional question to that lol. Re: Game Boy Interface

It might? You'll have to find out if this were your issue. When I would play a rumble-enabled game, such as Drill Dozer, the rumble would not function, and the frame-rate would get sluggish. Everything would function perfrctly with the standard Gameboy Player disc. Would it fix anything having to d...

Could anyone explain to me why I am having no rumble with standard GBI? I'm playing Drill Dozer, and the framerate is also dropping for some reason. You're missing a line feed after --no-osd
So exactly what do I put after "--no-osd"?

Could you give a brief explanation on how to pass "--no-osd"? Make a CLI file and append it to the DOL (before the padding). So, I need to make a CLI file and add it to the DOL, and then add 1024 null bytes to the DOL, or would that no longer be necessary? That's what I took from you sayi...
