Re: SD Gecko not showing in Swiss
Shouldn't be any extra step, can you browse it if you hit X and change the speed to "compatible"? Okay, so when I first boot, SD card isn't an option in the menu. I have to hit Z to show all the devices. So far so good (sort of). I'm able to go back and forth in the menu with the dpad and...

Re: Game Boy Interface
I tried this build and for some reason it isn't picking up the overlays on my SD card.Extrems wrote:For low latency version:
- Added memory card boot disc.
- Added overlay scale setting.
- Changed zoom scale.
Previous builds picked them up fine.

SD Gecko not showing in Swiss
I'm using the latest version of Swiss burned onto a DVD on a cube with a XenoGC and a FAT16 formatted card in my SD card adapter. Whenever I boot into Swiss, I can browse my disc and memory card, but my SD card isn't available to select. I also have the overlays for gbi on this SD card, and gbi seem...

Re: Game Boy Interface
Fixed one random kernel crash. This actually fixed the crash I was getting! :D For anyone interested, here is an .ISO suited for CRT TVs with a zoom level 2.375: homebrew_disc_20170909_zoom.iso.zip It has these options: --zoom=1.1875 --scaler=oversample --scan-mode=interlace --overlay=frame-srgb-x2...

Re: Game Boy Interface
Is there a way to burn a disc that just has gbi-ll with the .cli options appended and have it actually boot?Extrems wrote:You're not doing anything wrong.

Re: Game Boy Interface
That's the GC-Linux apploader panicking from the oversized DOL for the CLI append hack. Try appending 1024 null bytes. Could I somehow do that after I have already created the ISO? In GCRebuilder maybe? I'm clearly not as understanding about all this as you are haha, this has taken me a little whil...

Re: Game Boy Interface
Hey guys, I made this banner for an ISO of GBI that I'm burning to a disc, and I can't get the file to the correct form of BMP and cannot at all get it to convert to BNR. I tried editing the hex codes and saving it into the A1G5B5.... format so that GCRebuilder would accept it, but the image keeps ...

Re: Game Boy Interface
Interesting. Are there any workarounds?Extrems wrote:It's a bug in the libogc multitasking kernel.
Edit: More specifically, is libogc a dependency for gbi-ll or is it a dependency for one of the files used in .ISO creation (like gbi.hdr)?

Re: Game Boy Interface
So I've decided on a config that I like for gbi-ll that works for both GB/GBC and GBA games on my SD CRT over S-Video: --zoom=1.1875 --scaler=oversample --scan-mode=interlace So far, I've been burning discs with swiss and gbi on the same .ISO and launching gbi from swiss. Now, I'm trying to get a st...

Re: Game Boy Interface
Because it only work with an SD card. SD card adapter is on its way! Next question: are there any plans to add a key combo for switching zoom levels in gbi-ll? Or maybe set default zoom levels based on if it's a GB/GBC game or GBA game (I have no idea if this is possible). Also, I seem to be ...

Re: Game Boy Interface
I'm at a loss on how to make overlays work. I've read through the thread, but I still can't get them working. I'm just using swiss with all the gbi files on the disc with swiss. A few things that I'm unclear on: - The OP mentions putting the gzipped .tpl files in a 'gbi' folder. The downloads come w...

Re: gbiloader (automatic Game Boy Interface loader with .cli config file support)
I have a very specific use case for this:
I want two copies of gbi-ll on a disc, one with configs optimized for GBA and the other with configs for GB/GBC. I've forked your repo and edited the main.c file, but for life of me I can get the thing to compile.
Any tips?
