Re: Game Boy Interface
I am not interested in interlaced but I just tested it to see if it was working.

Re: Game Boy Interface
Thanks for adding the HDCustom format! 480x360 and 960x360@59.76Hz work great with the OSSC and the stutter is now every 29 seconds.
I also tried to test hdcustom with 720i and 1080i but those only produced a stack dump screen.

Re: Game Boy Interface
Well is it possible to fix the swapped Cb/Cr in GBI? Otherwise what about 604x374@59.76Hz or 600x376@59.84Hz?

Re: Game Boy Interface
Thanks. 1204x375 would be great too. If you can provide a test build I would be happy to test it as well.

Re: Game Boy Interface
Can you add a hd mode to High Fidelity that outputs total 602x375@59.80Hz? It should greatly reduce stutter.

Re: Game Boy Interface
Wow this sounds really cool! Are your modifications posted anywhere? Would love to check out 360p on my OSSC as well, particularly via GBIHF. The firmware has been posted here: https://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.php?p=1322960#p1322960 480p is a necessary "evil" because of GCVideo DVI. ...

Re: Game Boy Interface
NIce. High Fidelity with 360p. Thanks Extrems! I could not get this version of Speedrunning edition to boot with --scan-mode=non-interlace,no-clock2x,no-size2x from the Wiki. The OSSC just shows No sync. It works with --scan-mode=non-interlace. I have been doing a comparison of the chroma subsamplin...

Re: Game Boy Interface
Right, I found I could get sync at 960x360 by switching to RGsB or YPbPr. But it’s kinda broken that way (very dark or no colour) still interesting that it tries to send something. Interestingly though, there is no jitter and the ouput is an exact 22.5 kHz, 60 Hz. Interesting, I haven't heard that ...

Re: Game Boy Interface
I'm using the official component cables and didn't need to change any sync settings. I have tried 960x360 with a crappy RGB cable and indeed it does not work. My guess is the Gamecube does not output composite video in 27Mhz mode. The samplerate for 480x360 is 600. By changing the sampling phase and...

Re: Game Boy Interface
Is double horizontal resolution 240p (1440/1280) still supported by Standard and Speedrunning? I am using --format=custom --scan-mode=non-interlace,clock2x,size2x but that does not seem to work. Zooming in on captures at double samplerate (1732) with the OSSC it looks like GBI is still only outputti...

Re: Game Boy Interface
For standard edition: Added 360p and 720p video modes. Nice work Extrems. 960x360p mode works very nicely for pixel perfect scaling with the OSSC. I modified the OSSC firmware for sampling at 240x360 optimized and then upscaling to 1280x720 and 1920x1080. Here are some captures at 1280x720: https:/...
