Re: dreampi to cubepi?

Only the Mac adresses provided to the AP can get an IP adress, and communicate to the AP, if only they have the password, isn't it a little secured? :p I don't think my Wifi is worth sniffing to fake one of my devices, and I don't want to set another AP for my DS, one is already too much IMO. I used...

Ok, it's for the FOV enlargement, to avoid seeing popping and disappearing objects on the screen border?

Re: Widescreen codes for Swiss, but with disc games instead of backups?

In Swiis, you have this info, when loading a game from a disc.
But why bother finding AR codes for WideScreen, while you have SWISS setup for that?

Try to swap drives, if you have another working GC.

Re: dreampi to cubepi?

I have Mac-IP fixed static assignment for both Ethernet and WiFi, DHCP de-activated, for various other reasons, but even without it, it would be quite overkill, just because of my location.

Re: dreampi to cubepi?

The way WiFi is used and abused makes it be crap. Always try your best to be able to get wired connexions, then if you can't, try to use a chanel that noone uses close to your whole network, neither too close to your home appliances' frequencies (alarm, rollling blinds, micro-wave oven…) or y...

Re: Gamecube "An error has occured", won't attempt to read discs

I'm not an expert in faulty GameCubes, since I traded away the platinum one I had broken the audio out.

AFAIK you may get an error if no drive is connected, but you can swap drives to test, but remember doing so, you can fry a working device too.

Some people here may help way better than me.

I don't know if it is written somewhere, but it seems DCP config menu won't work in SWISS if hide unknown files is checked in the settings.

Re: GBA Link Cable Dumper

Have you considered adapting this to work with the "advanced game port"? Unlike the GBP, the AVP is software based emulation, the hardware it comes with seems to dump the rom on some way to the GameCube before booting, it also read and writes the save to the cart. Being able to dump to sd would be ...

Re: Gamecube Digital out lag

I don't see where getting 240P would improve quality output over 480i, it's quite a nonsense! first, if you have a Pal GC, you're supposed to have 50Hz versions that will probably give you best quality in 576i, to begin with. If your CRT monitor doesn't handle 480P, you won't have to mod a Component...

Re: Need help with Game Boy Interface

I had the same problem some times ago, and believed it was due to Swiss Version. It happened once more today, I wonder why but it seems that you need to show unknown files in SWISS options to be able to make use of the .DCP files.

Re: Need help with Game Boy Interface

No, the GCVideo PnP isn't useless, just throw the Framemeister first, and try this setup on different settings. ;) We may have helped a little further if only you told us what kind of display do you use. For GBI, try the "normal" version, launch it from SWISS to be able to adjust video settings, and...

Re: Gamecube "An error has occured", won't attempt to read discs

The message I had after my kid broke the SMS disc wasn't this one and doesn't occur before you try to boot the game. I don't think it is the problem, since it won't load the disc before you get to the "game" menu. Just in case, try to boot without disc, or lid opened, without anything plugged in the...

Re: GameCube Memory Card won't work.

Do you have any other memcard to check if the GC can access and write to it correctly? If the brand new memcard doesn't work, it may be defective, contact the seller/manufacturer to get a replacement. In no way you can accept a card that can't be used nor formatted the "normal way", even if GCMM wou...

Re: dreampi to cubepi?

What was done for the dreamcast is impressive, unfortunately, few GC games that can play "online", and some make exclusive use of either the Modem or the BBA. There are bridging solutions for distant virtual LAN play such as MKDD's Warp Pipe, for example. It would need servers too, or else it would ...

Very nice emulator, and it is smart enough to support the same save file behavior as Lameboy, so I can use my SD at home on the cube, and take it on the go with my DS, if only GoombaColor (integrated in the Supercard) would be as smart! Still have to check if seamless saving can be achieved with GBA...

You may offer your help testing new codes for the Japanese version of the codes. Edit: Found an old forum topic about ...

I had to try "Mission:Liftoff" for Thomson To8, and did it thanks to Retroarch (Teodore Core), works nice. 8-)

Have still to try Asterix arcade game, and find a way, if possible through Retroarch, to play Oric games, will feedback experience when done.

Can't seem to find which version I use…

Not64 adressed that issue and you won't have to hassle, it sets the scan to 60Hz anyways.
With Cube64 I had to launch GBI previously to have it set to 60Hz, since Agent Under Fire is my main boot disc too.

Re: Is there emulator of N64 on Gamecube?

Yes, and there are dozens of ports, releases, remix, revamps or anything you can imagine of mainly one emulator from the PC world. Just don't expect near perfect emulation as we can get for the SNES, if you have a pal console, you should be able to start in 60HZ from the game you're exploiting, and ...

No heat and no Dremel, you probably won't have to get to these extrems! Industrial enclosures are usually assembled by screws, plastic clutch (clips/tabs), or glue/cast. First, inspect the whole thing to see if there are screw heads hidden under stickers, rubber bumpers… If no, look at the sides of ...

The cheaper you can go is get a SDgecko clone (WiiSD) for less than $3 on chinese market, put the exploit and a file to launch swiss from the root of an SDcard: SDLoader (6 blocks, no SDHC, no Fat32 support) Brosexec (11 blocks, SDHC, Fat32, ExFat support) Brosexecauto (11 blocks, same as previous, ...

Glad my guess was right, did you install a battery compartment, or just replaced the battery?
Is your GC NTSC, or PAL?

You didn't get the setup for cheap, you bought all this stuff in a rush? Or you put the games that beefed up the bill in this grand total?

Re: Internal Clock only records time progression when powered on

This is very different. I found one thread on a separate forum from 2007 which sounded very similar but there was ...
