Re: The Struggling Emulators (N64, PS1, NEO GEO, MAME)
Retroarch Milestones for me are: 1.0.0.2, 1.9.2, and I have to test the last version to see if the core still has to be loaded twice to work as it is the case from the 1.9.3 on. Don't forget to run RA from the desired scan frequency for the targeted emulator/game already set in SWISS, as RA on GC ca...

There are a bunch of arcade games that had been emulated through "official" releases, in the form of arcade games compilations, such as Midway arcade treasures, Namco museum, and some others that I probably don't know about, you may encounter Joust in one of them.

Don't kow if it has been published, but seems that there is already one port at least: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r7hooBc6lhw Another more recent, but not that functionnal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AOD-rKUR_54 Also, I don't know how much it is playable, but some use the Zelda OOT/Collect...

Re: From GameCube MiniDVDs to 5.4TB SAS Drives – Storage Madness!
We reach now to 2TB µSD cards, which is way enough space for an entire localised fullset, and over the maximum data throughput the machine can handle. We also have M2 interface option, which still fits within the machine's dimensions. Are you just a newcomer that don't know every mass storage soluti...

I'm not totally closed to Russian culture, as I enjoy using my Soviet/post-Soviet MF cameras, and nobody can stop me playing Tetris. Still, I can't fluently read Cyrillic so posting this way is useless. Posts are supposed to be in English as it is the preferred language on this forum. Multiple conse...

Re: FIFA 2002 Save Exploit
Thanks for the videos, your CG Disc reader seems to struggle, it takes sooo long to know what disc is inside. I have never seen that loading screen on any of my GCs (or maybe it doesn't exist on PAL GCs, that have later IPL FW compared to NTSC ones).

Re: Melee Exploit (Home Bros) doesn't work with MemCard Pro
Melee and F-Zero save hacks are among the most cumbersome to use, even though you have an OEM memcard.
Plus, using hacks on memcard pros are much likely to lead to accidentally erase those files.

Drome racers can't load too, different setup: genuine dol-001 pal, bitfunx hdmi adapter, shinehax, third party 2043 blocks memcard in slot a, WiiSD in slot b, 128GB μSD in it.

Hello and Welcome, how is this device attached to your GC? I personally bought two ETH2GC in the memory card slot flavour off Alix, and can tell you the 3D printing is of the lamest quality I've ever seen! You may have to grind it a little so it can get all the way inside and raise the contacts in t...

Re: Convert PAL ISOs to NTSC?
I'm afraid you're looking forward to overcomplexify what you really need to do.
What is your specific setup that requires you to do more than just use the native Pal ISO of a said game that supports 60Hz output anyway?

I'm happy to see it has had an update, as I saw a recent video on YT where it was about the last achievements on it, and I wanted to give it a try to show Pandemonium! to my GF.
I'd love to see Wii64 (and cube 64 too), get bettter at running more games, and with less glitches and slowdowns.

Swapped fields 576i GCVideo HDMI 4K TV
I recently had to buy a new TV set, so I went for a 4k Led TV, then my Pal GCs got swapped fields at bootup (576i) with GCPlug (GCVideo 2.4c or d), while it was right with the previous TV. So I reached the manufacturer's support, but bought a Bitfunx GCVideo HDMI in the meantime, as I plan on fittin...

Re: PAL game on NTSC-J GC doesn't work properly
Digital AV to HDMI devices now are cheaper than getting a PAl GC or a Wii from any region (to get native RGB or Component), plus you will be future-proof with HDMI. That's because it doesn't exist, as per our compatibility list. My bad, after a quick search, I stubled across a random database that s...

Re: PAL game on NTSC-J GC doesn't work properly
I just checked, but it seems MGS TTS natively supports PAL 60, so you should not force 480i, but rather boot the game in 50Hz pressing the B button, then choose 60Hz mode, then it will be okay. Still, with such input options on your monitor, getting an S-VIDEO cable is the least you can do. Check fo...

Re: PAL game on NTSC-J GC doesn't work properly
For the few games that only works in 50Hz and are not available in NTSC version, the way to get it sorted depends on what console and what kind of display you have handy. There is no NTSC 50 "standard", so you have first to forget about using composite (or RF) connexion. On the console sid...

Re: Swiss version 0.6 is released
All you have to do is put SWISS.dol as ipl dol at the root of your sd card, and add the igr file in the right folder. (See about apploader.img earlier in this thread).

Re: Swiss version 0.6 is released
SWISS's version number is displayed in the first screen, check if it's the right version when getting back to SWISS from a game.
You didn't gave us details of the mod so we can't guess if your chip has to be updated with the last version, and which way.

Re: VBA GX - Emulator Menu
Do you play among retroarch? Standalone pendants usually work far better, specially for guests systems that are close to the host in terms of specs. Try another emulator, emgba, maybe? Or the GameCube alternatives of these games, when they exist. I had sega rally back in the days, with the 120x80 re...

Re: Per Game RT4K setting
No need for a per-game setting to adress that, just set the right setting in global as you'll use RT4K for all your games. Unless you play some games on a CRT, and SWRSII on another display with a GCVideo device and RT4K. In short, standard definition CRTs are dumb and just try to output whatever ge...

Hi!, I've seen your updates, and was wondering about that V2 thing, seeing vaguely it's about interruption connection.
I'd love to know how I can mod my handmade SD2SP2 so it can upgrade to V2, and if it's of any interest to put some sort of V1/V2 switch or something?

In terms of functionnality, all are based on GCVideo firmware, which will do the job pretty well, the only difference you'll see is the finish and price for those you'll find on the Chinese market: Bitfunx/Kaico: Pros: full size hdmi connector, metal based digital AV connector, professionnal looking...

Re: Submit Compatibility Issues Here
Hello, as I would probably ever use barely half of the 2043 blocks my main memcard has to offer (due to the 127 max memfiles limit, and the average memfiles size), and the boot forwarder I used to use tend to crash if anything else than SD adapter or memcard is in slot B (ie: Microphone or ethernet ...
