Re: ~ The Homeland Project ~
HomelandReloaded: have you considered looking for the function which writes these strings to the screen/formats them? Also, fun fact - I'm pretty sure that most if not all of the actual font textures being used are fetched from the bootrom (this was one of the games I used to make sure the ntsc-j se...

Re: Where is the IPL located?

Re: ~ The Homeland Project ~
I finally got the Dolphin emulator to run, and the sound and graphics are just like the real thing (apart from the font which is a bit skinny). However, I can't get beyond the "Please wait a moment" しばらくおまちください screen in the game where it is reading from the disc. Probably need to get it ...

Re: Qoob Chip
Well nevermind that, I re-burned on the dvd-r media at 2x and it works! FINALLY :D edit: seems I spoke too soon, the disc reads successfully 1/20 times, if that. Maybe I need to hunt out some better media... :/ edit 2: I re-burned on the dvd+r media at 4x (turns out 2x wasn't being reported as "...
Re: Qoob Chip

In other news, I can't seem to get my gc to read burned discs...I even tried to lower the resistance from the laser's po...
Re: Qoob Chip
I upgraded my motherboard to this http://www.msi.com/product/mb/P67A-C43--B3-.html and now qoob is not recognized :( It seems to be a problem specific to the usb controller on the board - I've tried a bunch of different settings in the bios but nothing helped. The qoob still works fine on other PCs....

Re: Coding for the GC - How to start...
xinput problems are because your dx isn't up to date. you should run http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3&displaylang=en instead of downloading random dlls from the internet. also, dolphin-emulator.com is the official site now. check ou...

Re: USB Gecko SE on sale NOW!
I bought a SE version...very nice, and with a sexy LED!
Anyways, I've wanted a usb-gecko for a long time, so I jumped on the chance when they appeared again.
