Hey guys, inspired by Jaecus i also build a power source for the hardisk. I think its the best solution and its very easy to make. I use Tuffdisc 1.4GB 4x DVD-R Mediacode: CMC MAG. AF1
works perfect here (poti set to 450 ohms)
I bought it at matrixx-media.com but it seems that shop no longer exist.
You can still find a few shops which sell these discs if you look at google for
tuffdisc 8cm or tuffdisc 1.4gb
