Re: Swiss 0.2
Why do you include swiss.h in swiss.c, but then re-include a number of functions that are already called in swiss.h? (#include <gccore.h>) for example is in both swiss.h and swiss.c. I don't know much about programming, though. You might wanna ask those questions again after you've learned some pro...

That noise won't go away, it doesn't matter which card you use as long as it works.

Re: Thoughts on E3 and all the new stuff
I'm not so sure about that... Anyway, I don't really care, as long as there are good games I will buy any console available (whether it is Nintendo, M$ or Sony)liquitt wrote: don't tell me that this is something new to you

Re: Thoughts on E3 and all the new stuff
The controllers are not expensive, in fact you can't even buy them... There's only 1 controller (with screen) per console, and it already comes with the console, it's not sold separately.
Re: Swiss 0.1
I can't get it to start on my Wii. GC Homebrew Launcher just says "Failed to load DOL". It's at the root of the front sd-card, and it's called "start.dol". I also tried launching it as Wii homebrew for good measure, but got the "invalid application" error from HBC. I m...

Re: How old are you?
I'm still entering the "Don't have enough time for games + life" stage - I don't expect it to get any better than it is at the moment unless I win the lottery :P While I was in University (I have an MSc in Computer Science) I had quite some to play! Now that I work full time I don't have ...

New in svn revision 33: - Zelda WW on Wii support - Add "Stop Motor" support now - DVD Seek instead of small Read now There are games (Tales of Symphonia for example) that work in the test version but don't in rev29, will they also work with rev33? Yes. Don't prepatch those though (pre-pa...

Re: Swiss 0.1
Does the speed of the SD card affect gameplay? I've been playing Tales of Symphonia and Baten Kaitos lately, they're playable but the sound glitches, buzzes and slowdows are quite annoying... Would a class 10 card make any difference?

Re: Show off your GameCube games!
Well, regarding the hardware, I don't own a GC, only a Wii, does that count?
I only bought two original GC games so far: Eternal Darkness and Fire Emblem - Path of Radiance. Do we need to post pics?

also, you might want to add an edit/delete function for these reports. i'm thinking about new versions of swiss here. if it didnt work on the old version, maybe it does on the new one? are we even going to delete all reports if a new version is released? since the negative score might be lying if i...

Yeah, i thought of dividing the formular in 2 parts: 1. Game is working / partially working (thumb up) + checkboxes for small things like sound stutter (weight 1) + checkboxes for bigger things like DRE ingame (weight 2) -> calculate rating 2. game is not working (thumb down) + checkboxes for all n...

Re: The Swiss Compatibility Wiki
What i thought of would be to start at 10 and then minus 1 for every checkbox checked. Use any amount of checkboxes you want (each one means a problem with the game). Then get the rating this way: rating = #UNCHECKED_boxes / total_boxes * rating_upper_boundary eg: Rating is a number up to 10, there...
