For the latest r1712 release, what does "Replace igr.dol solution with Swiss as apploader" mean?

Under the IGR folder I see swiss > patches > apploader.img.

Do I place apploader.img in my SD card and delete igr.dol?

I believe it's only noticeable if you're using a GCVideo HDMI dongle like the Carby or GCHD.

I noticed the resolution changes between cutscenes (i.e. the X-Wings approaching the Death Star, every time you die) and gameplay.

One tedious workaround is after you have all the VMCs created in MemCard Pro, you can just remove SD Gecko from slot B and insert your previous memory card, and then use the GameCube OS to copy the game saves

You can toggle between VMCs in the MemCard Pro using your PC or phone or tablet over WiFi

I've had two 16MB clone cards and unfortunately the saves get corrupted after 5-6 writes. To be fair, I experience the same thing with PS1 clone cards too.

I also lost a Baten Kaitos save in the virtual memory card in my SD2SP2.

Since there's a line in GitHub stating "Load custom backdrop from /swiss/backdrop.tpl on default device", I am assuming it is to change the background image for Swiss?

There appears to be more Wavebird controllers out there than receivers, so having something like this will greatly help a lot of people!
