Re: DVD Drive Emulator Question
It is a nice idea and I have considered it. However, the amount of interested people for this seems so low that it is probably not worth it for us. Sorry. Thats a shame :( Judging from the replies in this thread:- https://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=65485 I think there are more than...

Re: DVD Drive Emulator Question
Really great work meneerbeer! I'm so glad to see this project coming to fruition :) Out of curiosity I remember your post here:- Thanks for all the input. I am planning to do the following: 1. FFC connector to connect to the GameCube 2. FFC connector to support drive pass-through. I have not tested ...

Re: Change Games Video Output Resolution?
Hmm, so I guess if we wanted to remove the black border but with as few scaling artifacts as possible we would need the HDMI mod to offer different modes/options to scale the 640x448 original resolution upto 1080p? e.g. 4:3 mode, 16:9 mode, 1:1 mode (Perhaps double the resolution to 1280x896)

Re: Change Games Video Output Resolution?
If I wanted to maximize image quality, I'd be looking to remove scaling. Hmm, I figured that since 720x480 is neither 4:3 or 16:9 there is going to have to be some sort of scaling before the image is displayed - no matter what we do. I thought if the GameCube was doing the scaling itself then that ...

Re: Change Games Video Output Resolution?
Devolution already adjusts the horizontal scaling to fit screens better. Changing the vertical scaling requires more memory which isn't always feasible. Thanks for the reply tuedj :) What resolution does Devolution adjust the horizontal scaling to? and how much extra memory would be required for ve...

Change Games Video Output Resolution?
Hi all, So recently I have been reading about the GameCube HDMI mod:- http://www.videogameperfection.com/2015/11/16/hdmi-lands-gamecube/ and I noticed in the screenshots the black border around the edge of the screen:- http://i.imgur.com/nQuRRoC.png I had already noticed this black border before whe...

Sounds fair enough to me, but perhaps you were not the only person emailing Costis about GCLib?

Re: XenoGC Full Source Code
I just registered here to say a big thank you to the XenoGC author and emu_kidid for releasing the XenoGC source code :D Since we now have the source code can we fix the bug on XenoGC V2.0 which caused the shell to always appear in PAL video mode? Perhaps it could check the disk region and boot the ...
