PicoBoot is much more convenient than XenoGC. It'll autoboot Swiss from SD card. No need for a boot disk. It's also very cheap.

Use picoboot. You can restore SP2 or just get a memory card slot based SD reader. There's even kits out there to restore the digital out port on this model if you wish to do so.
