Re: The CurvyCube
Fantastic work, as already said. But Zen, I have a question: Won't your hands completely cover the vent holes?

Re: Dreamcast
@emu_kidid: Do you think it's possible to make a custom bios for the Gamecube like these guys made with the Dreamcast? Then maybe boot games via SD Gecko without a drive replacement? Or maybe boots Swiss instead of the original IPL. I don't know how complex it is nor which chip could handle it, but ...

I'm thinking how the hell you got the idea of putting baby powder on the molds lol. That's excelent news! That's some valuable infos.
Regarding the cooling solution, why are the fins bent from side to side? This makes the heatsink more effective for some reason?

Re: Plug and play drive replacement adapter Idea
Mega, you changed my mind in almost every point, nice words.
These PCBs are really not that thick
One last question (I think): Will you be implementing alternate solder points for the pins 27 and 28? Since the QSB will need to be cutted for OMGWTF boards..

Re: Plug and play drive replacement adapter Idea
@Megalomaniac: What if the DD filter were already removed? All my OMGWTF board cuts needs the filters to be removed and without them it would be a pain to solder that (beautiful) QSB due the thickness of the board. Wouldn't be possible to add vias on the pads and cut thru them, so we have "side...

Re: Plug and play drive replacement adapter Idea
As I've pointed to RDC some time ago, I was going to develop a QSB (quick solder board) in form of a kind of flex cable, for the WKF. But since I'll have no time to modding for a while, I decide to share the idea. It's basically a flex cable that matches the pins of the DD filters on the GC board so...

Re: What do you Drive ?
I have a Ford Escort 1984 manual, all reformed by me and my dad, as it's his job. Unfortunately, I don't have any pics atm. I prefer the 1979 Ford Escort :) I think Ford doesn't bring the 1979 model to Brazil. It's a nice model indeed! Forgot to mention we modded all the appearance of the car. It n...

Re: minGC Controller Board
The idea is exactly to turn them digital, for small portables that does't have enough space for analog triggers.
Surely I won't, but would be good to see something like that if a new batch ever exists

Re: minGC Controller Board
Just an idea: Why not add a spot for a SMD resistor on the L & R trigger? It would eliminate the need to poke with a external resistor, if using the double tact switch method. If the buyer wants to use the original slider pots, just bridge these spots.

Re: My first GCp
There are a little thickness diference between the CPU, GPU and RAMs, that's why nintendo puts the thick thermal pads. I'd stick to the original pads and put some piece of plastic or something between the heatsink and mobo, and then put some superglue or epoxy to secure everything.

I've read some time ago, that you can get WKF working on a GameCube IPL v1.0 using Swiss flashed to WKF. Does "Swiss autoboot" work on a GC IPL 1.0?
