Re: Submit Compatibility Issues Here

Thanks for clearing that up. The last revision does everything I personally need my Gamecube/wkf combo to do so thanks again for that.

I was enticed to upgrade for some XIII 480p is all. :D

Re: Submit Compatibility Issues Here

Greetings all, the latest release r785 has effected some game compatibility with the wkf/wasp device. The following games were tested with both "simulate audio streaming" enabled and disabled and neither option resulted in a successful execution. NBA Street vol. 2 (worked in r775 with alte...

Re: Submit Compatibility Issues Here

Extremely fast. Thank you for listening and providing a quick fix for a relatively small usage case scenario.

Good to know going forward about this device's 2 disc support though. I do hope to get my hands on a GCLoader eventually.

Damn, that was fast.

Re: Submit Compatibility Issues Here

I tried my other readily available on sd card 2 disc game, Killer 7 (NTSC-U) and it also: "failed to read fst.bin" from wkf. I'm up to testing other games if you need it.

Re: Submit Compatibility Issues Here

The latest swiss release r747 has a problem with Tiger Woods 2005 (NTSC-U), a 2 disc game, when booted from the wkf/wasp device. It reports: failed to find fst.bin. This same game does however work from the same card when inserted into the memory card slots. This game also fails to boot (black scree...

Re: Submit Compatibility Issues Here

Hello friends, the recent update (r682) has broken wasp/wiikey device compatibility for me. Can someone confirm this? As always, thank you for your efforts.

Re: Widescreen codes for Swiss, but with disc games instead of backups?

You could use the dolphin wiki to search the name of the game in question and find the identifier from the dolphin wiki page. https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Main_Page Search bar in the upper right hand corner. Or this website: https://www.gametdb.com/ Search bar in the upper left hand ...

Re: Cause of Gamecube freezes with buzzing sound

Is there a way to verify that an entire Gamecube disc can be read? Check this link out: https://www.gc-forever.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=1432 I currently couldn't connect to redump.org to download the dat file required to verify whatever games you test's checksum. Maybe a good Samaritan c...

Re: Hello everyone, I love video games like most of you all here.

Yes, if you follow this link: https://github.com/emukidid/swiss-gc/releases and download the current release and extract the 7zip archive you will find a ready to burn disc image in the "ISO" folder. Be sure to burn the disc that matches your specific region, if you are in north america it...

@herostone welcome to the community fellow cube-enthusiast! If I may be so bold as to direct your attention to the following webpage before you employ the services of another cube-head: http://www.badassconsoles.com/wasp-custom/ I think it might be custom tailored to your needs if I've correctly und...

Re: Updating Pluto-IIx firmware to GCVideo 2.4b

I'm not a programmer, but this may point you in the right direction: https://github.com/ikorb/gcvideo/tree/master/Firmware From the bottom of that page it says: "To build the firmware, type make . You will need a Linux or other Unix system with GNU make, perl and ZPU gcc." FYI, there was a...

Re: Media Player CE

I think it would be swell if the next mplayer update would support the wasp/wkf devices. Purely selfish request of course as I got one of the plug and play drive replacements sold by badassconsoles and think it would be neat to get that functionality from the cube. I don't know if the wasp/wkf, by n...

Re: Is anyone still working on FCE Ultra GX?

dborth attempted to address your request with the latest revision ~3.4.1 - January 4, 2019 @Sowden1 but unfortunately this revision no longer recognizes any controller input at all. I tried with a wired controller as well as a wavebird. I think dborth may visit this site so maybe things will work ou...

Re: Hu-Go! GX unofficial

Gave this build a try and can report that it successfully loaded and played some non-compressed roms from a fat32 formatted 64 gb sandisk sd card. I didn't get very fancy with the folder organization as found in smokemonster rom packs, just dumped a bunch of games in a "roms" folder inside...

Re: Hu-Go! GX unofficial

Thank you. I'll give this try tomorrow and report back. If you get bored again could you look into refreshing the neogeo cd emulator? The last refresh works well but it could use some 16:9 correction support imho. Anyway, not a big deal, thank you for efforts and for providing a forum for the gamecu...

Re: Swiss Nightly Build

Hey gang just wanted to report in that the horizontal scaling feature recently introduced in the latest rev has done wonders to fill the entire screen of my early generation "4K'" (2160p max) Sharp brand TV. Before this the TV wouldn't scale the native 640x480 signal to fill the entire 16:...

Personally I like to use the wii's classic controller or classic controller pro thumbsticks as replacements. Here is some useful information that I don't think is common knowledge: This is based solely on my experience but the wii's numbchuck thumbstick is not a perfect fit for the wavebird c-stick ...

Re: Swiss Nightly Build

Sorry to stray a bit from the current device overhaul bug-hunt but I have a question regarding a feature request. This question has already been asked in this thread about a year ago but I didn't see a reply. Would it be possible to adapt the nintendont feature to display games at 720x480 as opposed...

Re: Media Player CE

Well my viewing habits during my experimentation with the gamecube mplayer were mostly episodes of Young Justice, the occasional episode of House, the feature film Due Date (played like a Dream btw) and the All Star Superman movie. The intro to House would stutter a bit, and one of my early encodes ...
