Got 2x Qoob Pro and 1x Viper GC, they shipped more than half way around the world (France to Australia) in less than a week too! Recommended!!

Re: One Question

What I'm saying is that DOL loading support in your version isn't perfect, it might work.

Re: One Question

It all depends how broken DOL loading support is in the version you have. Latest SD-Boot has very good DOL support (the unreleased version).

Re: Reviving a modded gamecube / Can't Load DOLs

mupen64 needs a better loader than what is out. Try to compress the DOL first before sending it. The modchip is installed fine.

Ok, that's plenty for now, I'll test these and see if there's still any issues.

Re: SD-Boot non-working games list

not necessarily required, but you can check to see if it is fragmented before doing anything further (on Windows XP you can anyway). The best practice is to format the SD card, put on a bunch of games and inspect that it's all ok.

Please, when having tested games, make sure the file is not fragmented on your SD card.

you need to check your connections going to the MX chip, they are most likely shorting someplace.

Re: SD-Boot non-working games list

thanks, I know Eternal Darkness / Wave Race and possibly all audio streaming games were broken on the latest sd-boot, but I've now fixed those. I'll make a compatibility list in a few days.

SD-Boot non-working games list

Please list any games that have never worked in SD-Boot (latest version around especially) or never ran very well. I'd like to re-test these before the next release to make sure they're working.

Example Game(s):

Game Name: XIII
Number of Discs: 1
Issue: Reboots gamecube after memory card screen

Re: Launch an NGC homebrew on the Wii??

Once you get a Wii there's not much point in running GC homebrew on it :p I've noticed the same. I only run GC homebrew on a GC these days.

Re: Problem with RE4 (Sd-boot 0.4)

GCMUtility 0.5 is best, but if your image is already pre-shrunk you will need to use fstfix first to make it back to 1.35GB

Re: Panasonic Q Problems

It would seem your cable is missing, if it weren't you'd at least be able to switch modes.. If you can take a picture of the connector where you think the cable should go that'd be good so we can perhaps identify a spare.

Re: Adjusting the POT?

Btw whats the recommended media to use DVD-R disc on a modded cube. Currently using Memorex DVD-R's... The brand does not matter, as long as the media identifier is RITEKG04 or RITEKG05 and it has a dark dye, you should be ok. To check the media identifier, use something like ImgBurn, DVDDecrypter,...

Re: Problem with RE4 (Sd-boot 0.4)

1) How I stop/keep dvd spinning in sd-boot? 2) What is "shrink" or "shrunk" dvd? 1) In 0.4, there is no option to stop the dvd from spinning. 2) Shrink or shrunk DVD is when a gamecube iso has had the garbage (padding) data removed from inbetween files, and sometimes meaning that files have been re...

Re: Adjusting the POT?

from factory, originally the indigo and black consoles came with ohms set to 500-550ohms. then nintendo started shipping the platinum (DOL-001 and then DOL-101) Gamecubes at 170-220ohms from factory. I'd recommend 170-220ohms. But clean the lens before adjusting to make sure dirt isn't the cause.
