Re: Starting my portable build (3DGC)

I will extremely careful and sand everything. I take it you don't like board cuts i dont really ether but wh...

Starting my portable build (3DGC)

This is my progress page for my first portable build. So far I got about half the parts needed for my build still waiting for the power reg's, screen, muticolor wires, battery, and audio amp. I'm hoping to have it done by January I will update with pics and progress. I would to thank Ashen for the w...

You could also use a aftermarket audio amp as well

Re: WiiKey/Wasp Fusion SD card Slot Schematic and Wiring

I forgot to download the files from filedropper, and it looks like the links have expired. Would you mind to re-upload them (or maybe add them as an attachment)? https://oshpark.com/shared_projects/FhOnpaqE Just order them from here it will be the cheapest place to get them made anyway. You can dow...

Re: WiiKey/Wasp Fusion SD card Slot Schematic and Wiring

So I'm looking to buy the micro sd gecko but where would I get the FFC conector or does the PCB already have one? If not how hard is it to connect to the PCB and are there any instructions? You understand that this is a bare PCB that you must ether buy new components to solder to the PCB or used ra...

To be honest they might sound cool but the kids hate it because they have to stand up to play them so they dont play it like at all. Im trying to buy the ps3 back from him since it was mine at one point

Yes i own one. There the same as retail but have a special power brick. Same cpu-dol-10 motherboard as my other retail units i soldered in a wasp with megadrive v5 in it. The kiosk unit itself has been modified with led screen and wii with wode jukebox It sounded interesting so I searched your post...

Re: Modding the component cable

To be fair I do know it supports 480p and 576p but for what your asking I would contact emu-kidd since he has done this mod maybe more then once. So he would know for sure I have never even seen one in person but since it supports H-sync, and V-sync I would say most likely yes it can. But saying it ...

Re: Modding the component cable

Normally this is not possible, no TV will directly accept 31kHz as far as I know. Maybe the Framemeister can do that. At least it accepts 480p over Scart coming from a Toro Box for the Dreamcast. That's what I wondered, as I had read the Toro box can output 480p over SCART. I do run my GC through a...

Re: Autoboot every time even without SD card (Confirmed!)

Fair enough. I'm waiting for my Megadrive V5 to arrive, heh, a lot of rhyming there. I will give it a go once it turns up. BTW, as a side note, could I possibly have damaged my wiikey fusion by accidentally wiring 3.3v instead of 1.9v to pin 29? pin29 goes to ground never to 3.3 or 1.9 volts Really...

Re: Need help to install a WASP (WiiKEY Clone) into a gamecube

I'm having the same issue. I bought a Wasp Key for use in my GameCube and received it today. I've been looking at install guides and thought it was solderless but I keep reading about soldering pin 29 or power or ground. The YouTube videos I see make it look like you just have to plug it in. I also...

Re: Autoboot every time even without SD card (Confirmed!)

So.... you connect the GC lid switch to ground rather than having the Fusion and GC lid switches bridged? In that case, where does the Fusion side of the lid switch go? If you look at my pics as long as ground is connected to the GC side of the lid pads it always autoboots. What kind of setup are y...

Re: Cloning the GameCube component cable

Can you hack up a newer gamecube without the port fitted would it work? is there anything missing apart from the connector ? I think I've seen a picture, possibly in this thread that showed vias for the 54MHz clock and cable detect signal. All the other signals should be available on the pins of th...

Re: Cloning the GameCube component cable

Only works on DOL-001 Gamecubes, which are the ones that still have the digital video port. It may or may not be possible to adapt the project to DOL-101 systems with some changes in the source code, but as I do not have access to such a Gamecube I cannot provide help with that at this time. Can yo...

I think mega could be right in saying that the hotel TV I was the reason that my shuriken video died because I didn't have any issues with it at home before I left. It's not a big deal total cost in parts and bare PCB's comes to 30 about so no biggie I could just build one more but there are bigger ...

I would like to add that you can hack online lobby's with this device (like MW3 & Black ops) but only one problem. Wii online has shut down so there goes online modded lobbies all well offline hacking only. I don't know if you can play over LAN party have to test that *cough* http://wiimmfi.de *cou...

So after waiting a couple weeks and buying some new chips I'm still having the same issue. I thought I had just fried something when I went up to 3.8v for programming. Re: Cloning the GameCube component cable

I'm sure this has been said before to some degree, but here is a picture of the cuts I made to fit the Pluto II next to the power. The only modification to the board I had to make was desoldering the connector for the TXDI interface. - Red are cuts - Orange is the desoldering of the TXDI connector ...
