Re: Who's getting one?
Keep in mind that a launch WiiU could have a security flaw that will be fixed in later revisions just like early Wiis with their boot1 trucha bug (which made bootmii boot2 possible).

Re: [PAL] RGB and 480p trick?
I don't think a cable alone or a hack would work. You can use this for your Wii: http://www.hdboxpro.com/eng/shop.htm I use it since years and you never have to bother with this RGB, PAL50/60, NTSC, interlaced etc crap again because no matter what video signal it eats, it sh*ts out progressive scan ...
Re: Swiss 0.3
Ok, I can live with that
Re: Swiss 0.3
So they have the same compatibility? I saw compatibility lists in the past that have games working for one region and not working for another region (or partially working for another region/different results/performance). See here for example: http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/Gamecube_Backup_Launcher_Co...
Re: Swiss 0.3
I updated the compatibility list but noticed there is no differentiation between PAL, NTSC and NTSC-J. I doubt that PAL and NTSC games have the same compatibility.
Re: Swiss 0.3
Cluster size doesnt make the slightest difference with Swiss. Just don't use 64 It seems that it wasn't a cluster size related issue. You have to repeat the writing process till it works. I'm also having problems to get Swiss to recognize the cheat db I downloaded from the swiss google code site. E...
Re: Swiss 0.3
Yesterday I formated my 2GB SD card FAT16 with 64kb clusters to speed up reading from SD gecko. I shut down my PC to play a bit F-ZERO and checked out Swiss 0.3 before sleep but Swiss gave me an error saying that it couldn't create a configuration file. I assume it's because Swiss doesn't have code ...

Re: CleanRip v1.0.5
Any news on the CleanRip front? USB loading for Gamecube has created a bit of need for (ripping) speed.... ;) So what, Wii USB loading exists before GC USB loading and Wii Isos are much larger than GC isos. Besides, CleanRip just received a speed enhancement with v1.0.5. It's doubtful that it can g...

Re: Wii-U - what's got you excited about it?
I am looking forward to yet another awesome 2D Mario game and off course to Zelda WiiU (that will perhaps be released 2020) :D Was never a big fan of Pikmin, although I bought the first one. Hopefully Nintendo will offer Virtual Console Gamecube Games and if you can play them on the little screen of...
