Re: WASP questions

my opinion is you are better off with a wii dvd drive if you can find one of the early drive boards then you can have audiostreaming from disc with a DIY wiikey v1 (same as xeno schematic) the forum wiki shows the process for multi disc titles, its similar to how you describe but it must be in WBFS ...

Re: WASP questions

1. compatibility is different between swiss and original firmware... 2. yes, use a MEGAdrive + WASP + wii dvd drive = success 3. wasp will patch a wii DVD drive but you will not be able to play audiostreaming backups 4. only original WKF firmware will allow to play multidisc titles, if you have swis...

Re: Game Boy Interface

If you have a parallel port you can build a cheap flasher...look on the wiki pages for Xeno clone... The raphnet adapter uses the same atmega8...or at least he use to use that... Flashing would then be the same process as flashing Xeno... I'll move this discussion to a new thread when I have access ...

even if you find gqoob binary or compile the source, you will still have to mess with getting the USB drivers working.... and virtual machine thru linux wont work without first getting the USB drivers functional... you are better off sticking with windows to first confirm if your qoob is functional,...

watch out with all the solder splatter you have on the board, it could lead to a short somewhere if one of those blobs come loose... remember how your other board blew up? could have been from solder splatter falling and shorting PWR GND Also it might just be the camera angle with light and shadow p...
