Re: Plug and play drive replacement adapter Idea

Great idea! GC drive passthrough, clean and easy for maintenance. Would love to have a set of two of those for a WODE install.

Yes keep those two connected together to 3.3v, they are separate as they power separate things.

Re: Gamecube component cable

Kinda confused on how the list for 2nd run is going, as it only shows one person? unless that just isn't updated. In any case, would also like to have a go at this, would be really interesting. Looking forward to new developments. That is part of the first run, the second list is for optical audio ...

Re: Starting the IDE-EXI project !

When needed, I'll cut traces and drill little holes on the "copper hole" that connect to the back side. Take a look at the datasheet: http://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/data_sheets/ds056.pdf On page 9, it shows the power/ground pins that are supposed to be connected together. As ...

The 1.5 update file on wiikeyfusionmod.com was 1:1 identical to the original site. Try the 1.2 Recovery Image from wiikeyfusionmod.com

Re: Homebrew HDD adapter for Gamecube Tutorial

Can somebody take a screenshot of this? I can't find it in iMPACT or the SDK ver. 14.1, and I suspect that the programming part is what's blowing my party. Also, what happens if you try ide-exi in swiss without an HDD connected? Is it detected? (Also sorry for the necro, but I don't think I should ...

Re: Refresh plastics *RetroBrite*

Thanks for sharing this information. I have a controller port cover and a dreamcast which has some light yellowing and was thinking of painting them. Will probably try this instead.
I don't think this will work on the aging yellowing of NES/SNES cases, anyone know?

Re: Wii DVD/Wiikey Fusion/WODE + GC Portable Discussion

Hello everybody, I will install a wiikey fusion on my GameCube. I have a little question. Is it really necessary to put a switch on pin 29 Wii? Without switch the wiikey would it not constantly lit? You need a NC momentary switch to connect Wiikey 29 to GND, doesn't work if connected directly, and ...

Re: Removing scratches from GC jewel with Brasso

I've recently polished mine with non-gel toothpaste. Brasso has worked well on my Xbox jewel, but I didn't have any to try on the jewel.
Looks nice!

By the way, are newer gamecube jewels taped/glued on? Heat it to remove?

I didn't know there are still demand in these things. Thought all the attention went to the Wode.

Then again the design files had been downloaded 265 times throughout the year, wonder if anyone else had them fabricated.

Re: IDE-EXI Gerbers, Design Files, BOM, PDF and Program File

Yeah, it's not worth their time to setup and make single boards so small additional of boards doesn't cost too much. It's a pain to get a single prototype of a board cheaply. Not sure how much each board cost since I had other boards made and such, but I would guess it to be around $10-15 depending ...

Sent the files off a week and a half ago, soldered them today. The decoupling cap got stuck under the memory card cover. I now see why you don't have them soldered.
Anyway, thanks for the Gerber files!
