Re: Something to keep an eye out for :) (Dreamcast)

The SD adapter mod doesn't have the best compatibility and is slow on certain games. This device claims to have 100% compatibility and is going to be at least the same speed as the GDROM drive. (but most likely faster) There is another team working on a ODE for the PS1/PS2/DC (but mainly for the PS1...

Re: Something to keep an eye out for :) (Dreamcast)

Updates :) And behold, it was very good... Okay folks, since there are so many questions about the GD-EMU project and noone can be bothered to read the answers from the time I showed you my first iteration of the idea, here it is all again: 1) Ready when? No idea. I would not be making a custom PCB ...

Re: Something to keep an eye out for :) (Dreamcast)

Thanks :) I thought it would be worth spreading the word. This is pretty big news for me, My drive has been on and off for ages and I'm forever messing with the POT. :P Looks like I'll have to buy a new Controller first tho :) Maybe if this all works out can we expect to see some Portable Dreamcast'...

Re: First Gamecube Portable - Worklog

Shame, luckily GC's are pretty cheap now. Don't know if you have a shop called Cash Generator where you are but by me they sell GC's for around £10 (some even less + they are all fully working too)

Re: Possible to port GEN/GS to Wii/GC

eke-eke is very good at what he does, perhaps he can elaborate more if you contact him personally about his thoughts on the matter :) Thanks Emu_Kidid. I'll see if I can get a hold of him :) I think I heard a while ago he said he MAY incorporate 32x/Mega CD features into his Gens Emu in the future ...

Possible to port GEN/GS to Wii/GC

Given that Gensplus doesn't support 32x/MegaCD. would it be possible to port over GEN/GS to the Wii or GC? This is in no way a request to port it (unless you really want to of course) :P It's just something I found while browsing the Sonic Retro forums. Or maybe it would be possible to incorporate t...

Re: Swiss 0.2

I imagine it would be possible to keep Swiss on the Wii's real nand and use DML on an emulated nand. Best of both worlds.!

I should point out I'm not bashing on Swiss, far from it. I'm just saying if a game doesn't work on Swiss that works on DML, whats the harm in switching back and forth. :)

Re: Swiss 0.2

Dear Emu_kidid,will Luigi's Mansion be playable in the next version?I am dying to play this marvellous game again... :-) If you've got a Wii then you could try DML (dios mios lite) it's had a pretty substantial update recently that allows alot more Games to be playable at fullspeed (including Luigi...

Ha. That's cool. I used to do vacuum forming when I was in school. Never thought about doing it in the house tho. Good job.

Re: N64 pad adapter to GC/Wii

Sorry to bump an old thread but I thought I should share it here rather than make a new thread. I recently bought a 4 in 1 adapter for the GC/Wii and after hearing a few horror stories I have to say it works perfectly for all the Emu's I've tried. The adapter converts N64/NES/SNES/GEN-SMS. to GC con...

Nah, I haven't got one yet, my nephew will probably get one before me so I'll end up using his :)
Does anyone know if there's any news of a 3DS Emulator in the making. I've had a quick look around but it seems most of them are fake.?

Re: Swiss feature requests

the reason I don't like supporting wii features like this is because they rely on custom IOS - and getting bug fix requests for things like this is beyond the scope of my knowledge. I can add the functionality, but you're probably better off just using crediar's tool anyway. That's fair enough, may...

I know Swiss is primarily a Gamecube app but to have front SD loading for Wii is a bonus :P
I mean if the capability is there and it's possible, why not take advantage of it?

Brilliant, although I do have a SD gecko this seems the natural step for Wii owners, this is going to be a perfect addition to swiss :D

Plus my SD card keeps getting stuck in my SD gecko (which is really annoying :P)

Here you go Emukidid, apparently, these are the true specs for the WiiU (Take with a grain of salt) found these on another site. R7xx videocard with 1Gb video memory Power7 CPU (SonyPS3 uses Cell/Power4 CPU) 25 gig optical media. 8 gig internal flash. 4 USB ports. SD card reader. 6.2 inch touchscree...
