Re: Wii DVD/Wiikey Fusion/WODE to GC tutorial + Compatibilit
nope, the wbfs manager 4 is just a hack to support gamecube images, they didn't bother adding support for scrubbed images. however you can use the command line tool wwt (http://wit.wiimm.de/wwt/) to make that happen.
there also are gui frontends available.

Re: GC + WODE + DVD-Drive -> What to do?
you need 2 adapter boards / solder connections (mainboard-wode and wode-dvddrive).
no need for the qoob, cause you can put swiss on the wode.

Re: DOS emulator?
Obviously i know that there is a keyboard (official PSO), several third party keyboards (datel) and several keyboard adapters (e-k, wiick, ezk... etc). What i meant is, that there is no keyboard support for them in libogc. So you can attach it, but not use it with homebrew. Nobody ever bothered addi...

Re: Gamecube ISO Hacking?
First you have to identify the format inside the file, then you need a program which can read/write/convert this format. A hex editor is great help, just because the file extension can be misleading... they could have named it everything. Nintendo and the other's used some special formats on the gam...

Re: Open source Drivechip
Nice find!
Looks like they have streamlined it, so we don't need the low power "L" version anymore. The 8A supports our needed low voltage of 3V.
Maybe need to change a bit in the Makefile (target), but then we have a cheaper replacement chip (2,20€ → 1,80€ reichelt germany store).

Re: YAOSM -> GC?
first of all: why would you want to? all features are in the xenogc source code, which we have.
but besides that, sure you could, just have to rewrite some of the dvd code (could be a complete rewrite, not worth the efford)

Re: Swiss on Wiikey Fusion as initial ISO
This whole thing opens a new door! Well, should be possible to dump the 1.0 firmware from a fresh chip (because emu_kidid already knows the flash access commands). btw. we can also modify an existing firmware image to be a recovery image (and vice versa) or a swiss flasher image to be the recovery i...
