Re: DVD backup help
I'd stop playing games on your cube until you've read your pot value. You might be killing your laser now.

Hello,
Are these still for sale? (Or any other clone)
Cheers.
Edit: Still saw a buy now button on the website so I just transferred the money via Paypal and now we wait. :p

Wow that's lame that they are stealing your work without proper crediting.
Thanks for the codes. Really appreciate the work!

Re: Automatic build server
Hehe nice! I can help you too if you want. :) I currently have a proof of concept running which already automatically builds when a change is being made to the repo and which adds metadata from the commit. A (harsh) output can be found here. http://azure.jessesander.nl/builds/ I hope to add a friend...

Automatic build server
Would there be any interest in a (free) automatic build server for maybe swiss and / or related gamecube projects? I currently have a Xeon spare server with SSD storage and 8GB of RAM available which is collecting dust for a long while now. (This used to be our company build server, but we switched ...

Current Swiss setup recommendations?
Hi all, It's been a while since my last visit and sure a lot of things have changed. :) Is there a list of the current setup recommendations of Swiss? I remember the SD card needed to be formatted as FAT and not fragmented in any way. Is that still the case or will fat32 with some (re)writes do? Che...

Just wanted to say thanks for all the softmods. Bought an SD gecko for a friend and he is in love with the options swiss are offering him right now.

Might be a bit off here but isn't it simply easier to patch the start.dol beforehand?

Awesome idea!
Will follow this project very closely!
Also, I'm wondering how you'll add the cartridge slot in the cube.

Re: Wii DVD/Wiikey Fusion/WODE + GC Portable Discussion
Guys, I need help one more time. I had no luck installing Wiikey Fusion on my Gamecube (DOL-101 / rev C / NTSC-USA). First, after play a few minutes (3-15 minuts), the game freezes. Now, it loads only the first game on the SD card. If I choose any other game, it freezes. I already check, re-check a...

Re: XenoGC fork
I don't think it would be a great idea, since it has very limited flash space, and needs a disc in the drive. I prefer BIOS overriding modchips, because of that (not needing a disc in the drive, or not needing a drive at all). Tmbinc's modchip has more space (about 2 megabytes if I remember correct...

Re: Tyrant Ashen
We support 'backups'. Not 'copies'. Ofcourse it's a bit hypocrite, but it's the only 'legal' way and assures the site will stay online. If you look around on the web a bit you can find dumped games almost everywhere. Also, it's a bit harsh to call Ashen a tyrant without messaging him first about the...

Re: XenoGC fork
That's a good point, an open-source drive-chip would provide more functionality. I am most interested in this because it's my current setup, although it would be nice to provide an upgrade to people who already have Xenos. with all the knowledge on this forum and on irc we could be a gamecube open ...

Re: thanks button (or similar)
I agree. I measure my self-worth based on the amount of appreciation that people show me for my online comments. I rarely come here because this site does not validate my sad little life in the way I desire. Ouch, right in the dignity. But I kinda agree, also I like a personal 'thank youuu!' more t...

Re: Force Widescreen?
no, i'm playing my originals. anyway, i think it is normal, it's a very high resolution for the cube, right? The cube should be able to handle that resolution as it support some games in 16:9 natively. The reason (i think) that this is working at all is that the actual 'view' limits are hardcoded t...
