ColecoSend - another gba link cable homebrew app
Based on FIX94's GoombaSend I made another application for NGC and Wii which can sends an emulator and your desired rom to the gba over the GBA-NGC cable. This application uses the Cologne 0.8 Colecovision emulator and works the same as Goomba. The application itselfs takes 65kb and you can upload r...

Re: Change Games Video Output Resolution?
Do you even know what those values stand for? Could be anything pretty much. Of course, I found stand alone values of [80 02] and [E0 01] all over the place. Would those need to be changed as well, or would this just not be possible so I can finally put this idea to rest? I'm sure this isn't going t...

Re: Yet another USB Gecko clone
FTDI played that twice now so far. Now the driver on Windows will burn bogus data on your fake chip - funny stuff.
@Topic: That clone looks fancy, but I'm not sure if I can solder it as clean as pictured above.

Re: GoombaSend - A gba link cable homebrew app
After trying out Animal Crossing and the game not detecting the cable as well, I would say it's broken. Strange that goombasend can detect it.

Re: GoombaSend - A gba link cable homebrew app
For clarification: Is this used for "Gamecube Port 2 <-> GBA" or "Gameboy Player <-> GBA"? edit: Well, that's just great. Apparently one of my cables is broken. Goombasend detects it, but can't send stuff as it seems. My other gba to gamecube cable does actually work and I could ...

Re: GoombaSend - A gba link cable homebrew app
I'm already using Tetris for that. Tried it with Mario Land for gb now too. Still nothing. Could this be related to not having an official cable? On another note: Do I need to use the Gameboy Player for this and connect both EXT ports with an normal gba link cable? If so, then I got this wrong. I th...

Re: GoombaSend - A gba link cable homebrew app
Yes, I have no game inserted. I tried it multiple ways. Already booted and then pressing A on the controller and pressing A first and then booting the gba. Both times it detects the gba fine, sends data and nothing happens on the gba (buttons do nothing). Tried the 1.0 version with booting first and...

edit: Oh yeah, used an GBA SP if that is of any importance

I can agree on the orange gamecube but I like the gundam gamecube colour combination more. I think the darker frontplate would have been really nice with the orange.

Re: Xeno-GC ISO Patch Fixes
If you have enough knowledge about dumping your games you might already found out that xeno modded cubes dump them differently or? You would need to ship cleanrip with patches for all games so it could fix the isos. Would be quite the work and make the package bigger. I think it would be nicer if cl...

This to me is the best snes emulator for Gamecube. Yoshis Island could run very well. It is based on the version of Snes9x 1.51. It swirled also other roms very well. Would like to hear from you on this emulator. Snes9x_GX_009-GC.zip As soon as I started this version I got an DSI exception. Doesn't...

Re: Some very newbie questions about launching software from a SD Media Launcher
Either that, a modchip or an exploitable game.
For example the homebros exploit lets you execute homebrew. You just need the right save and one additional file on the memorycard. Either Brosexec or McLauncher.

i will most likely get the SD Media Launcher by Datel this weekend and mainly want to use it for the Gameboy Interface and Swiss eventually. Is there any way that by launching these (or any other) programs the actual software of the gamecube is changed permanently? If the use of the homebrew changes...

Re: Exploit for games which load savegame at start
Would the IPL be exploitable you wouldn't need any kind of game to get into swiss (softmod wise). I would find that superior to the need to have and boot a game and wait until you are able to execute the exploit. Sad that there aren't any, but it seems that Nintendo invested some work into the IPL, ...

Re: Exploit for games which load savegame at start
The ones so far exploit unchecked string vulnerabilities which happen when you don't terminate a string with NULL. If a savegame is loaded at the start AND it tries to immediately print the string then the exploit might trigger, otherwise it'll usually trigger when it attempts to print the string. ...

Exploit for games which load savegame at start
When I see all those exploits which load code at different stages it makes me wonder if it would be possible to execute them even earlier. There are games like Resident Evil 1 and 0 which both read the savegame right at the start (even before the intro screen shows up). Are all those exploits based ...
