Yes it does.
Edit : To clarify, this is clean regulated power from the regulator board on this connector so should you need any power you must grab it from here unless you are soldering to another connector with the proper voltage.

Re: WKF to GC wiring help
Both the diagram and the table are equivalent. The numbers on the diagram are the pin numbers on the breakout side that you should connect the GC pins to. Oh and it's viewed from the top of the motherboard.

Re: Which chip to get?
XenoGC needs you to press a button to boot its menu. By itself it has no SD support so you need a Swiss DVD + SD gecko. Qoob auto boots to its menu with empty drive. It leaves you the option of booting to the regular BIOS if you need to. Once again no SD support built in, but you can flash Swiss ont...

Re: Which chip to get?
Wii Key Fusion with Swiss autoboot is the most modern solution and meets your requirements. Actually it's the best if you don't want to mess with discs, else the XenoGC might be cheaper.

Yes you can modify the ISO to put other ROMs in it but I heard it's not 100% compatible and I dunno how to do it.

Re: Using a Raspberry Pi to process digital out
Hmm. Indeed the data stream to process is quite important (70MB/s for wide-screen 480p, assuming the component signal is 8bits per channel, even more for 576p). I/O seems to be the bottleneck here, because I'm pretty sure the CPU is capable of processing such data streams. However since the pinout s...

Using a Raspberry Pi to process digital out
The RPi packs some pretty good hardware and I'm sure it's actually possible to use it as a cheap replacement for the MX chip. With highly optimized ASM code that runs bare metal we could have the CPU handle the I/O and translate it to RGB on the fly then the GPU would do the scaling and HDMI output....

Re: Startup sounds on my WKF cube?
What I mean by autoboot is downgrade the WKF to 1.0. Then you'll get back the startup animation/jingle and you won't need to press pin 29.

Re: Startup sounds on my WKF cube?
A stock Cube does that when there's no disc or the lid is open when you power it up. To fix it you'll need to make your WKF autobooting and you'll boot straight to it or to Swiss if that's what you have.

Re: How do I get the SD Media Launcher Fully Compatabile?
If you load Swiss from your SD card you can read DVD backups with full compatibility. That's currently the only way.

Re: VBAGX, Cube64 and CubeSX
And I do not doubt its ability to do so. Cheap android phones can do it and they are well below the GC's power. Heck, even a calculator can emulate it at reasonable speed.

Re: VBAGX, Cube64 and CubeSX
Why wouldn't it be possible ? The GameCube is many time more powerful than the GBA. It has the potential to emulate it full speed with hardware acceleration, which is probably what's lacking ATM.

Re: Component Cable Discussion
I use my cube on an early plasma Pioneer HDTV (720p, not 1080) with an RGB cable which is as good as component in interlaced mode. This TV's built in upscaler is quite awesome so the image looks very beautiful. IMO the digital port is useless unless we figure out how it works to get true digital out...

OK so basically since the XenoFusion is obsolete I don't even need a Xeno. That's cool, I'll be able to save €15. Thank you very much.

WKF/Swiss drive patching
So yeah after searching around I figured out the WKF is the best way to load backups off an sdcard. But I would like to know if Swiss can patch the original drive hooked up to it so I can run audio streaming backups off DVDs or do I need to add a XenoGC for this ?

I'm Streetwalker
Yo guys. Recently I started playing my GC again (still in great condition after 11 years) and I'd like to mod it to play backups and homebrew. So here I am, I've been lurking around for the past few days and documented myself to know what direction I should take. To give you a little background on m...
