Re: Is it possible to port VectrexWii to GC?
Hello again, now i have tried the port... Unfortunately you forgot to change the wii-specific path (sd:/vec/) so i was only able to play the internal rom. So, i created the build environment and fixed it. dol attached. btw. it is not really difficult to enable sound support for this emu (it's alrea...

Re: Is it possible to port VectrexWii to GC?
On topic: Nice, thank you! Will try it tonight. Off topic: For dosbox it takes a bit more than just commenting out Wii specific stuff, we need a working build of SDL (which i have on my bitbucket btw.) and a per-game configurable key mapper (GC controller button X -> DOS keyboard key Y). I could re...

Re: Flash Swiss to Wiikey using a Wii?
After wiring up the wiikey, I still can't get it to work. Its been flashed and tested on a wii, so i know the wiikey works. All the wires have been tested. I push down the "eject" button during startup, but it either freezes up, or does nothing. Has anyone gotten IPL 1.0 to work? I get it...

Re: Flash Swiss to Wiikey using a Wii?
Even the IPL is 1.0, you could flash Swiss 0.3 to your wiikey fusion on gamecube. I think no one flashes Swiss to wiikey fusion on Wii here.

Re: Wii DVD/Wiikey Fusion/WODE to GC tutorial + Compatibilit
So, a thought occurred to me today and I figured I'd test it. If you remember at all (probably not) NTSC Gamecubes IPL v1.0 would freeze when the Wiikey's "eject" button was pressed while in the IPL itself. This could be gotten around by holding in the "eject" button while power...

WKF works properly on gamecube with IPL 1.0 now!
I know some of you might know it long ago , but I am glad to post it out again. To solve IPL version distriction, you just need to use Swiss 0.3 as initial loader on Wiikey Fusion. If you are still troubled by IPL 1.0 gamecube, do not hesitate to flash Swiss 0.3 to your Wiikey Fusion. Via Swiss 0.3,...

Re: RetroArch - A new multi-system emulator
There is some news about GC port. What about Gamecube port? Are you going to release a Gamecube version of RetroAch today? I can't wait to see its performance on Gamecube. Not today - it's all but done but I will need - 1) to focus on a faster SNES9x port - something based on v1.43 or 1.50 for Cube ...

Re: RetroArch - A new multi-system emulator
They are choosing pj64 as the n64 emu core to use I've heard which is a big no-no for low mem systems.. Wii/GC will struggle for N64/PSX support via libretro IMHO since even SuperFX for SNES is slow. I'd like to help it out but I figure it's a long way away. Emu_kidid, could you help them make a Ga...

Project64 v1.6 source released (unofficial)
In an effort to give the Nintendo 64 emulation scene a "push", one of the Project64 developers has released the source code to v1.6 to the public (unofficially, of course). You can access that here. It's been several years since the PJ64 has seen any activity and perhaps might be dead at t...

Re: mame-gc supported games proposal
You could split the drivers into several dols, just like mame4all(http://chui.dcemu.co.uk/mame4all.html) did on Dreamcast. You can make dol of CPS/TMNT drivers, etc. According to the efficency, I recommand you to include games drivers older than CPS2. As a fan of Contra, I'd like to play Contra and ...

It seems it is impossible to just make a GC build with little work,

MAME Wii 1.0 is released, and it no longer uses SDL. Its frontend code is entirely rewritten and now Gamecube joystick works! Could anyone modified the resource code and make a GC build? I am looking forward to see an arcade emulator for Gamecube :) Here is the link:http://code.google.com/p/sdl-mame...

KOF 97-99 works great except for the sound issue.
In fact, all games that need sound track to play in a loop have the same problems - the music track only play once then become silent, until next music track plays.
