To update, it is now updated to Snes9x 1.52. And I believe the USB support is through IOS202 only? Or is there a way to change that?

This thread is for the Gamecube build only, I'll be adding the Wii versions soon in the Wii section :)

Hey!

Version 4.2.0 is worse than those older versions, those ones released after the gamecube support was dropped.

Why?

4.2.0 givesme lags, a little, but gives, and sometime when i pushed the menu, it gaveme a code dump!

:/

4.1.2 still the best for me.

Yes, with the new releases the gamecube version is just getting worse.

I think that this emulator is a lot better for gamecube http://code.google.com/p/snes9xgx143/ is almost 100% in speed but it have some bugs that might be fixed; sadly it looks like an abandoned project :(

Releases aren't getting worse, they're improving. It's just memory management was neglected a little because when working with the Wii you have a lot more memory to work with. Once memory management is optimized, the GC Version should have nearly all the Wii features but for the GC as well.

It's Server Message Block. This is Windows networking protocol meaning that you canaccess a Windows share. The video shows him loading F-Zero from a network share. Cool stuff!

So would the saves and configuration files still be stored locally on the SD card, with just the ROM being streamed one-way to the GC (in this case)?

Is there any compatibility list for this emu? The matter is that when I play Samurai Shodown the game freezes when I met Amakusa, maybe because the graphic effects that the game displays. Is this issue exclusive for gamecube version?

When i press "Exit" to "Return to loader" , the Gamecube show me a Hexadecimal Errors and reboot after 8 secs

==============================================================================

If possible , all programmers , can make a new multi-emulator , for Gamecube & Wii , using the source code of "Mednafen WIP" ??? , i use that emulator under (Arch)Linux i think its genial.

The source can be downloaded from Here : http://forum.fobby.net/index.php?t=thread&frm_id=4&

Another thing , i think its better , if all emulators , like : Fceuxgx , Snes9xgx , vbaxgx , genplus , smsplus , cube64 , wiisx , all have the same methor to Return to Menu , using the Gamcube controller.

I encountered this problem too and needed to fiddle with the video output, some settings worked better. Unfortunately it had to be smooth controls+bad audio or unresponsive+good audio..
