One dol for SD and disc loading and I don't have to re-mount my memory card all the time to get the emulator to load up. Perfect! It's working good for me. Everyone remember to change the name of the dol to the correct name searchable by megaloader. The download gives you neocd-redux.dol and megaloader (atleast the version I'm using) looks for neocdredux.dol. Also, is there anyway to save the options after setting them? I use my sd device in slot B so I can keep a memory card in slot A, so its ready to go for most games that look for memory card A. The default in the emulator options for save file is set to sd device which seems to look at slot A for my sd device. No good for me seems how I really like to just leave slot A as a memory card. If I change the save file to MEM card then everything loads up great. However it doesn't save the setting after I power off the cube. So each time I restart the emulator I have to change settings to MEM card. Hmm... I guess I could switch my memory card and gecko around.

Damn it! Never mind. I got it. Me brain work slow today. I didn't create the folder /neocd so it was freezing when making the save file on the sd card and not the memory card. Let me know if I can look stupid any other way today. Its working great! Thanks mega!

Puzzle Bubble and Neo Drift Out works well, sound and music don't play very smooth but guess it's the emulator.

Can anyone please test KOF 99 to verify if sound issue still exist? I still have problems with 8 gb some months ago corrupted micro sd, so I cannot actually test the emulators updates megalomaniac made these days.

Hmm, sure but how should I describe it, it just plays like there a lot of tiny hickups, like that hardware is too slow to play it smooth, like you have a lot of little stops in playing sound and music.

That Neo Drift Out I don't really remember as I don't like it. About Puzzle Bubble, music plays ok, but those voices "Ready", "Go" doesn't play smooth. Same as Neo Geo CD intro animation, also sound isn't smooth there in my case.

A little help here please. I used to play with this emulator past version but I cannot make it run this time, here my configuration:
I boot swiss from slot A with a 2 gb micro sd, and I boot neoc dol from slot B using a 8 gb micro sd. When I select it and I choose to play a game, the emulator ask me for a save device, I unplug the micro sd from slot a and introduce a memory card, but when the emulator is readin the media it gives mr an error. It seems like it is looking for a dvd while I have my roms in my micro sd in slot B.

by default, there is a save file that is written to SD card or memory card...
for SD, it will save to /neocd
if you do not have this directory created, then it will fail....(endless loop)

also by default, it will look in Slot A for an SD card, if no SD card in Slot A, then it will look in Slot B.
since you have a card in Slot A, it is looking for /neocd directory, and it will never look in Slot B.
as a workaround, once swiss is loaded, remove the card from slot A, then boot into neocd, it will then see Slot B

ill have to figure out some creative changes to fix this...

Maybe you could just add a folder to the 2GB micro sd card in slot A and name it neocd. The save bin will save to that card. Would that be OK?

I don't think this will work since the emulator will try to browse that card for titles also.
I have to take another look at the code to find the best way to correct this..

Have no other PAL users tried this emulator because there are problems.

The old redux version boots in 480i 60Hz PAL but this version boots 576i 50Hz PAL resulting in the games running slow and the audio is not working correctly - sort of muffled.

Also rather strangly occasionally the game runs even slower like its in a slow motion mode and for example the sample speech in Metal Slug comes over as - Flaaaammmme Shhhhhooooot instead of the usual Flame Shot.

Also you can toggle part of the game screen with the option screen - like so

Thanks for your hard work. After a few missed trys with that stupid program, I've got 12 games on one disc
I've tested these so far:
Crossed Swords 2
Pulstar
King of Fighters 97
Fatal Fury 3

It sucks that I have to check MEM Card every time, but that can easily be fixed next round.
If this is as good as the Dreamcast Neo4All, everything will be fine.

I almost lost hope on making a disc in the first place until I saw a video on youtube made three months ago by a person in Indonesia.

I tested more games, this time using BootableDisc3, which is indeed a godsend. :)
Metal Slug 2
Neo Turf Masters
Viewpoint
Sengoku 2
Real Bout Fatal Fury

Samurai Showdown IV has some graphical glitches.

And add:
Aggressors of Dark Kombat
Galaxy Fight
Ninja Commando
Ninja Master's: Haō Ninpō Chō
Twinkle Star Sprites

Next version, you should consider mapping the Emulator menu button to the C-Stick like with SNES9x, considering some may go trigger happy with the shoulder buttons.
