I didn't even know this was a thing, I'll have a look at some point.
I tried the resolution 316X224 and 224X316 without success as well. I'm using Paint. Always worked with Genesis Plus GX. The problem is turning the console on and off until I find the right setting. My GameCube does not deserve this ...

Try 512x512 loadpath/covers/romname.png (romname = the same name you see in the browser). Let me know if it works, I'd be keen to see it.

Did not work. It always displays some vertical stripes with the most predominant color of the image. I do not know is the resolution limit or the Paint version is not compatible. Or both.

Hi @emu_kidid! Will this be updated to include the reading from the SD2SP2 adapter? I'd love to include it in https://github.com/niuus/Snes9xRX

Thank you for your work on this @emu_kidid!

I was wondering what I should change on the settings file to make it run at 240p. I'm using component cables on a CRT and it automatically boots at 480p (which my display doesn't support).

Hello dear gc-forever community, I need your help to run the snes9xgx Emulator on my modded Gamecube. The Gamecube have the Wiikey Fusion Chip with a SD Card reader. From the SD Card I load the swiss software. In swiss I have the option to run any DOL file. In my case I try to load the snes9xgx DOL file. After I load the File the emulator crashes with the message “Exception DSI Occurred!“. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for your help an merry christmas.

If you'd like, try my latest release:

I'm curious to see if it works in your scenario.

Weird. I went ahead and gave it a try with the latest Swiss version just in case (743), used the specific Snes9x RX GCN dol, it loaded fine. Are you maybe forcing any special settings on your Swiss config?

With the latest version of swiss i have the same result. Its realy weird. I bought the console many years ago with the Wiikey / Wasap Fusion chip in it. At first glance I would say that no special settings have been made.

Well, if you start fresh without a swiss.ini config file, you should be safe. Some conflict with Swiss loading and the chip, i guess? Never read something like that before.

Yeah I can add it in.
I gave it a try with this commit:
https://github.com/dborth/snes9xgx/comm ... ec2c88620f
It errored out with:

I am guessing it won't be possible since the SD2SP2 support comes from the newer devkitPPC itself?

Use the 748 release, there was a supposed fix for a regression with Wiikey Fusion.

niuus, my PR is here.

I've tested it locally, saving & loading seems fine. You seem to have some other build issues when I tried to build your repo with the latest dkppc/libOGC (that I also addressed).

I tip my hat to you, sir. Thanks for your PR!

I think i'll branch it so that the performance penalty associated with the newer devkit does not affect the GCN build, which is more prone to lose FPS because of the limited power (in comparison to the Wii build), maybe the end user could choose between SD2SP2, or max speed possible.

Are the "VM" specifics now merged to the main branch?
DMG/MultiFreq OC/EDGB/EZF Jr, AGB/SC miniSD, NTR/NeoMK3, USG/flashme V8/SC miniSD
DOL001(EUR)/RGB/GCPlug/GBP/SD2SP2, RVL 001(EUR)/RGB/CMP/WiiSD

Yes, and they've had bug fixes too. I'm going to close this thread to avoid confusion. For all official snes9xgx please go to the actual github repo:
