This version seems to work well and my speed issues reported earlier were only cause I was running NTSC ROMs on my PAL cube, probably not worth trying to fix those games and I didn't feel like forcing video modes on people.
Thanks for your work, emu_kidid, i'll test in a couple of hours.

Thanks for these great mini-updates.

Results of my testing:

Floppy Disk System support is currently broken

Some emulation messages are now on screen, when loading a rom, etc.

those emulation messages are from a result of merging that code base you mentioned :)

Oh, it's ok, while they don't bother me, i guess they weren't present in the chinese version that was released without a source code. I still love your work, and the fact that an update is available (and properly preserved) is nice enough :)

I'll be waiting for a hopefully fully-connected version of your update with FDS support.

How to apply the .patch to the source? to make a build for wii, for example

Take the latest source from the official repo and right click the .patch and have something like Tortoise SVN/GIT apply it for you.

Mr emu_kidid, a fella trying to update the emulator had the following problem:

have you been able to patch the source files with emu-kids 3.3.5VM patch?

i've tried both the "3.3.4.zip" file from the releases and the "master.zip" file from the main page from dborth github page
and on both i get the "folder is not working copy" error from tortuoiseSVN

can some one link the 3.3.4 source files patched or tell me how to properly apply he patch :)
the i can port the changes to create a new "3.3.6" version

Checkout the source code using SVN, don't download it as a .zip...
Otherwise if someone can't figure out how to manually apply a patch they probably shouldn't be bothering to compile it themselves.

Well, some people don't know everything, but have the desire to learn. Besides, he has been doing a great job updating this lost emulators with some nice features. Thanks again for your work with this FCEUX update emu_kidid, problem was solved anyway.

You don't learn by compiling, you learn by looking at the code.

For those around here interested in fixing fds support, just use a working fds.cpp, like the one on Github, and replace it. This fix was discovered by Burnt_Lasagna at gbatemp.

https://github.com/dborth/fceugc/blob/m ... ra/fds.cpp

Nes zapper games are unplayable on wii, since pointing with the wiimote does not work.
