Or you can tell me , where i can download files , to compile the ".dol" file from source , but i need "devkitpro" ???
another thing i need to compile dols file from sources using linux ???
You do not need to compile anything.

The correct version from the link is Télécharger: redux32.7z version SDCard exploitant la vitesse de bus plus élevée (32MHz) du Cube

You need a GameCube memory card as well as a SD card adaptor.

Put the bios in a folder named bios in the SD card root.

I am booting with the Datel SD Media Launcher so SD card adaptor is in slot A and GameCube memory card in slot B.

Does this emulator support SDHC or 2GB and below cards.

I followed directory structure but having no luck - and yet I got NeoRage to work over a decade ago

The emulator boots and says insert memory card and press A.

/BIOS/NEOCD.BIN
/NEOGAME/IPL.TXT and all other data files
/NEOGAME/MP3/TRACK02.MP3
/NEOGAME/MP3/TRACK03.MP3
So I have to convert all wav files to mp3? Is that for space or do wav files not work? Does anyone know if CDRWIN is the best program to tranfer NEO GEO CD games to the SD card?

audio must be converted from wav to mp3
try a conversion @ 192.0kbits/s & 44100 Hz using ffmpeg...
VLC conversion might not allow the track to loop..

all your doing is dragging and dropping the files to SD...dont need anything special...
unpack the iso, convert audio, drag/drop..
details are in the instructions with the emulator...

@siphoned

If your pulling files from the web then the audio will probably be in .mp3 format already - just need to adjust the spacing on the track naming.

My problem was I did not have a memory card in slot B after that the emu worked.

Wow, this emulator was a real pain. Got the memory card in slot B (thanks wii_HD). Converted the wav files to mp3 with ffmpeg (thanks megalomaniac). Renamed all the tracks. Used correct SD version dol. Finally got it. Took me long enough. I was happy to see that the game Pulstar is working great. Thanks to everyone on the project and the forums.

its a PITA to convert all those files to mp3 ...

i wrote a shell script for ffmpeg to convert all tracks and rename them properly...
there is a small bit of setup and filling in data in a few areas for the script to run, but to be able to walk away and let it do its thing, its worth it...
the script works great for me...

if i remember properly, i have about half the titles setup already...
let me know if interested

Yeah, I couldn't find a 'batch' convert in ffmpeg so I was converting each wav one at a time. 21 tracks in pulstar. I'll only take time to convert/rename a few games so I should be OK. Looks like some don't even have wav tracks. Too bad there is no compatability list anymore.

look what i found while digging thru an old PC...
like i said i was tired of doing one by one so i wrote this script to mostly automate the process...it worked great for me...

only variables to insert are
X,Y = total number of tracks on each disc
Title0 , Title1 = copy and paste from predefined variables

Hi All,

I was wondering what people were selecting when it asked, "Where do you want to save progress?" A - SD Card / B - Memory Card ?

I've tried both and get a freeze each time, i have mem card in slot B insert before and after still no luck and my sd in slot A

Any help would be great thanks!

forgot to mention the where do you want to save progress is only when using the preview version, when using the redux dol I get cant find bios? I know the bios is ok as it works on the wii. I of course have it in the folder named bios on the root of the sd and its named correctly.

Maybe its because i'm using a 16gb card with the redux version? (I will try a 2gb fat16 sdcard) but the preview dol is compiled for sdhc hence the reason I'm getting past the bios error?

yeah, the old redux build has no sdhc support. btw. the sd/mc question was just a quick insert because i have no memcard in my dev cube ;-)

There will be something big coming with NeoGeo CD in the near future, stay tuned.

Hopefully something for either sd2sp2 or for gc loader..
Patching and renaming is already a pain in the butt..
But to struggle with installtation, especially since my gecko (SD card reader with wii logo) isn't recognized..
I tried the "a2" build which got me further.
Now it asks for the save.bin only to freeze afterwards because of the missing file(s)
I can't seem to load games from either "the gecko/ the sd2sp2, or my DVD replacement.
Maybe I am just to stoopid to use the gecko properly..
